You may at times report accurately for what Trump says, it is your constant ad libbing that grates on most of we observers of you warn you to stop.

 

So you pretend not to understand. And you do not know the minds of all posters. That is an example of you going way too far.

Sources are not all valid. Sources used should have backup for one thing.

 

To some extent that is true. Trump is more of a Democrat than a Republican. Absent any serious war or economic crisis, the National Debt has risen sharply under Trump.

He is spending money like a drunken Democrat while protecting workers with his tariffs, another liberal concept.

 

Trump nominated John Ratcliffe to replace Dan Coats as the next Director of National Intelligence. This would launch a lawmaker with less than five years national experience and no years of intelligence experience under his belt to the pinnacle of US espionage in one of the most powerful and sensitive jobs in government.

Trump chose him because of his die-hard conservative persona that has made him a star in the House and a darling on Fox News.

This, folks, is Trump's idea of a joke.

 

Trump is a pathological liar. He has gotten so bad many think he can no longer differentiate reality from his fantasies. He showed that again today.

Trump claimed Tuesday that African Americans are so delighted with his attacks on the city of Baltimore and US congressman Elijah Cummings, an African American, that they are calling him at the White House in large numbers to thank him. That's surreal.

"What I've done for African Americans, no president, I would say, has done. Now, I'll say this: they are so happy, because I get the calls. They are so happy at what I've been able to do in Baltimore and other Democratic-run, corrupt cities," Trump said.

"The African American people have been calling the White House. They have never been so happy as what a president has done. Not only the lowest unemployment in history for African Americans, not only opportunity zones for, really, the biggest beneficiary the inner city, and not only criminal justice reform. But they're so happy that I pointed out the corrupt politics of Baltimore. It's filthy dirty. It's so horrible. And they are happy as hell," Trump added. He didn't say what they are happy about.

Trump began talking negatively about Cummings and Baltimore in a series of tweets on July 27. In a Quinnipiac University poll conducted from July 25 to July 28 -- two days before the tweets, the day of the tweets, and one day after the tweets -- Trump had a 6% approval rating and 84% disapproval rating with black voters. Eighty percent of black voters said Trump is racist, while just 11% said he is not.

Of course, Trump talks only to his base. They are the only ones gullible enough to believe him, but are they really that gullible and uninformed?

Trump said, "Not much...I sent the one about the 'wiretapping'...and that turned out to be true."

No, it turned out to be a lie.

"If I got fair coverage I wouldn't even have to tweet," Trump said. "It's my only form of defense. If the press covered me fairly, I wouldn't need that. But they don't cover me fairly."

He doesn't even know that it is his moronic, racist tweets that cause the negative press in many cases.

Trump is proud of his talent for lying. He calls it "truthful hyperbole," and he considers it a political tactic. Trump defines truthful hyperbole in this way.

That's why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthful hyperbole. Once again, only his staunchest fans could believe that remark.

The latest claim that India asked him to act as mediator with Pakistand lasted less than an hour when it was exposed as total fiction by India.

Rapper A$AP Rocky’s trial began in Stockholm, Sweden, on Tuesday, and the Trump administration sent a very notable guest: the US presidential envoy for hostage affairs.


The New York Times and Politico reported that Robert C. O’Brien, the US top diplomat responsible for negotiating the release of Americans held abroad, is in Stockholm to monitor the trial of A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers.


Rocky and two members of his entourage have been charged with assault. His arrest became a sore point in the US-Sweden relationship last week when President Donald Trump personally intervened in the case, speaking directly with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, and then made that involvement very public on Twitter.

He said the news media is part of the White House vetting process.

"I get a name, I give it out to the press and you vet for me. A lot of time you do a very good job. Not always," Trump told reporters. "If you look at the vetting process for the White House, it is very good, but you are part of the vetting process. I give out a name to the press and you vet for me, we save a lot of money that way."

Honest, Trump actually said that. He is on television making that ludicrous remark, which begs a question. Is he really that stupid? Will even his fans believe that comment? Yeah, probably.

"If you look at the vetting process for the White House, it is very good." If the very opposite is true, Trump will lie, hoping some will believe him. He has made a career of doing just that nearly on a daily basis. Black is white, night is day, that is Trump's mantra.

In a televised speech on Monday condemning two mass shootings over the weekend, Trump mistakenly named the wrong city in Ohio.

“May God bless the memory of those who perished in Toledo,” the President said, referring to a city more than 100 miles away from Dayton, the location of a massacre on Sunday. “May God protect them. May God protect all of those from Texas to Ohio. May God bless the victims and their families. May God bless America.”

Unbelievable. Everyone in the country knew the mass shooting in Ohio took place in Dayton. But our President didn't know that.

 

Before he left for Dayton, Trump made an absolute fool of himself several times. "It brings people together," Trump said of his inflammatory rhetoric. "Our country is doing incredibly well."

Get it? His hate-filled remarks brings the country together. I doubt even his gullible base will believe that ludicrous comment. With Trump, if something is true, he will say the very opposite. “The Democrats always play the Race Card, when in fact they have done so little for our Nation’s great African American people,” Trump tweeted.

Several times a week Trump makes a fool of himself, hence the thread title. Which, of course, is why his fans avoid this thread. They voted for the idiot, and now they are wondering why.

One thread supports Trump with cartoons and little else. The cartoons say things his fans would not dare say in an open discussion.

They don't want to make a fools of themselves.

For years Trump has brashly — and baselessly — promoted suspicion as fact and peddled secret plots by powerful interests as a way to broadcast his own version of reality. Those include the lie that former President Barack Obama was not born in the United States and that millions of votes were illegally cast for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

Trump is a joke, a man never to be taken seriously.
