The FBI would have needed a separate surveillance warrant for Flynn. You have no evidence that Flynn was wiretapped/wiretapped/or overheard. The FBI knew Flynn had lied because of a NSC intercept of a conversation ABOUT the Flynn conversation, between the Russian Ambassador and Moscow. Did that instigate the FBI interview with Flynn? I don't know, because I don't know when the FBI was informed of the NSC intercept? If before the interview, the FBI story was "we knew he was lying all along," but that might get them in trouble over failure to tell Flynn of the jeopardy he was in, for fear of Flynn telling the Russian's their Ambassador-to-Moscow communication link was compromised. To avoid that, they said essentially "Gee Whiz! He sounded honest to us!" And, of course, if the FBI found out about the NSC intercept AFTER the Flynn interview, the FBI was being completely honest...i.e. "he was a good actor."

I believe Flynn was primarily charged with lying to the FBI, at his own admission. He accepted the charge and the guilt. He was pardoned for lying to the FBI, not the conversation with the Russian Ambassador.

Sorry..."RodB"...my like was for "Fullmetaljack," not you. If I remember correctly Flynn also attended a meeting where he was asked to help the Turks obtain the extradition of an Erdogan political opponent. And, while he was no longer in military service (have been basically fired a year before his scheduled retirement date), he apparently had some obligation to inform DoD of his Moscow trip and speech before attending the dinner with Putin and giving the speech. He was a "rouge ex-General" and remains so.

We have to make sure everybody knows the acronyms, as they are very similar...

    TFG = The Former Guy
DFG = Disgraced Former General Flynn

Of course not, nobody gets charged for what she did. Don’t you remember Alberto Gonzalez?

    Probably when it actually dies.

It is an eyewitness account from Hunter's partner. Yes you can launch an investigation on that. Russia collusion was launched on a lie.

How does one corroborate a private conversation? Nobody has investigated the whole thing. Of course they haven't found anything. They haven't looked.

Maybe Trump has been lucky, and getting away with it for years, but evidence of absence is not necessarily absence of evidence.

Maybe he will be charged in the near future, there's good reasons to think that it is on the horizon.

There are four more months due on this Grand Jury

Why on earth would Trump have even considered a pardon for Cohen. He charged with, admitted to and was found guilty of crimes that had nothing whatsoever to do with or was connected with Trump.

Might note that he was fired for lying to Pence, which apparently the same lie to the FBI that he was pardoned for.

Don't think so...in fact, wasn't Trump the unin
Which part do you think wrong? I believe Trump said he was fired for lying to Pence about the conversation with the Russian Ambassador. And, he was convicted of lying to the FBI about the same conversation, for which he was pardoned, no?

Gotcha and Trump was connected to Manaforts crimes? Is that why he was pardoned?

Yet the new states AG announced while a private citizen and running for the office she, without any knowledge of a crime being committed, would use the power of the office to go after a political foe.

Well, think so. If you read the courts pronouncements you will see nothing at all tied to or related to Trump.

Nobody knows if the lies were the same at all as the poster claimed

He didn't do what she did nor was their an internal plot between the FBI and DOJ directors to cover it up. And yes there were examples of people being prosecuted for less when this was an issue.

So, what, does not reading or comprehending the court judgement qualify you as being reasonably informed??? Quicky quiz: which of Cohen's convicted crimes do you guess was somehow tied to Trump?
