Trump plans to send federal law enforcement personnel to Democratic-led U.S. cities

Those lawless cities are a joke with leaders that are the epitome of that joke! And yet the people just keep electing them.

 

So then you support their freedom to peaceably assemble, right ?

The you can explain why the Police are breaking up those peaceful assemblies ? Thats the core reason that Trump is sending federal forces out. He doesnt want the protests. Protests are peaceful marches, not all, but most, become riots when the police starts treying to break them up. They get all the coverage on the news because it sells, but most are just protests.

 

The ones being broken up by police are not peaceful. Here, watch this example from Chicago:

Some are not. I agree. But most are. There is no reason to break up a peaceful protest. I know this for a fact as I was at one where the police came to break it up.

The federal response is to "stop these protests". Thats the problem. The right to protest is enshrined in the constitution, yet the right wants them stopped. And to be clear, their is a difference between a protest and a riot, but we also need to undertsand why they turn into riots

 

I don't think that's accurate. If the protesters were to go, say, protest in a city park away from federal facilities, I doubt the feds would have much of any interaction with them. It's precisely because they've been attacking a federal courthouse night after night that the feds have gotten involved.

 

Portland is a wreck right now. Those arent protestors, those are criminals. Im not debating that.

But in cities all over the country this is not the case. Protestors are bringing their message to the streets, and Trump doesn't want that so he is sending in federal troops to stop the protests before they can get their message out

 

If they haven't "gotten their message out" after 50-ish nights, perhaps they need to work more on their delivery and less on pointing lasers into feds eyes and starting fires.

FWIW, I don't see a pattern of feds trying to suppress truly peaceful protest. If I did, I'd be concerned, but instead I see the feds resisting rioters that are attacking federal facilities, and I'm ok with that.

 

Lefty thought process, he let's protest.. ok let's burn a federal building down ok. I assume you would think it was peaceful if it were your neighborhood right. Or are you like the portland mayor and think these protestors really care about who you vote for.

 

I wonder what turned the tide:

 

They're doing federal law enforcement. Where'd you get the idea it was for local law enforcement?

 

In which "undemocratic" led cities are their riots and anarchy?

 

Which republican run cities have fallen into anarchy and need federal law enforcement sent in?

 

Their breaking up the the violent ones. People wanting to peacefully protest should avoid them else they will be caught up in them.

You are the one claiming he does care about the "undemocratic" run cities and not sending law enforcement there. Which cities are you talking about? Which Republician cities and devolved into anarchy and riots and looting and burning of government buildings?

It started in a city in which the police were not only forced to abandon their duties, but abandon their precinct also. And how much did that no police interference peaceful protesting end up costing the city of Minneapolis? In Minneapolis, where some 400 businesses were damaged, owners and insurance experts estimate costs of the damage to exceed $500 million, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. I would guarantee that your thinking would be different if you were one of these business owners.

Why do you want OUR Federal Courtroom burned down in Portland? Do you hate America? Do you hate the American Taxpayer? Do you think the money to build these facilities grows on trees? What does letting these Nazis burn down a Federal Court accomplish? Are you concerned that those backing these rioting Nazis look like deranged fools?

So, only a 46% decline in the weekend murder rate and only a 50% decline in weekend shootings. Something happened. Does anybody have an input into why for the first time since the George Floyd murder that the violence in Chicago has suddenly dropped by 50%? Did BLM have an impact on the gangs in Chiraq? Did the threat of Mayor Lightfoot stopping mass killings have an effect on the city? Did Civil Rights activist and Congressman’s John Lewis’ death have an impact on the thugs in Chicago to not shoot? This is the first weekend since before Father’s Day that a child has not been murdered on the streets of Chicago.
