When someone says something VERY STRONGLY, they MUST be believed, because they said it VERY STRONGLY!

Where did he say Porter was innocent and the charges false? I don't think it the place of the President of the United States to declare his guilt or innocence. I'm hearing that it was 40 minutes after Kelly saw the photographs the Porter was fired. End of story. By all accounts the Porter the White House knew was a great guy who gave NO indication he had ever struck one of his wives nor appeared to be someone you would imagine would. And these are still allegations and his FBI investigation was ongoing. So slow down a little on the pointing of fingers. We don't know the whole story but he is gone.

Why should he be gone? The FBI has been telling him the investigation into any allegations was ongoing. They presented no evidence other than the allegations from a divorced wife. I am hearing tonight that it was 40 minutes once the photos surfaced and presented to Kelly that Porter was gone. That's pretty decisive in my mind. And it is still allegations as to what actually occurred. We don't know the events leading up to the physical violence other than her side. He should be given a chance to give his side. If he can't then the firing was appropriate. If he presents countervailing evidence the must be weighed.
