    Sounds like the only armed insurrection is the GOP and their ridiculous war on facts; look at the PA lawmaker who wants judges impeached for saying PA gerrymandering is unconstitutional.

    Libral anti trumpsters hate the military and hate displays of respect for our country almost as much as they hate trump himself

    A parade would really chap their asses

    The French were celebrating their independence. Does Trump's request have anything to do with celebrating our independence? Is he not happy with our Fourth of July parades? Obviously it has nothing to do with that. The man-baby wants an army parade. Won't it be nice when our country has rid itself of this orange scourge?

    Thank god, because I'm not sure he's gotten one out of the infield yet.....

    Have no problem with a large march with mostly veterans and a few modern day units thrown in... Don't want to see (or expect to see) missiles and hardware moving through the tight streets of DC... There are enough potholes on those suckers already...

    The United States does not need a military parade for the President in order to show appreciation for the military. And we do not have a Bastille day in America.

    In all seriousness, if this were a tradition for 50+ years of the annual march, that would be one thing. The tradition is important. Trump is trying to create a new event because he is egotistical and self serving. It has absolutely nothing to do with showing appreciaiton.

    Well, from the few words I've seen, I haven't read that the President is calling for Mobile Missile Launchers and Tanks to roll down Pennsylvania Avenue. Have I missed that?

    A parade of our Military men and women, where our citizens can give thanks for their sacrifice seems rather innocent to me.

    I get the feeling the Anti-Trump crowd has been given visions of some Soviet era show of military might in order to generate disgust at the suggestion of honoring those who serve our country.

    Well, when you're already adding $1T plus to the national debt why worry about adding a billion more for a parade. I always thought that Republicans were supposed to be fiscally aware. I associate military parades with countries like North Korea, Iraq, Libya, Argentina, Rwanda, Russia, China, Nazi Germany, Venezuela, Iran. ie all countries that like to keep a tight grip on their population. Dictatorship
