Yeah, that's the point. The one that screwed up badly is Trump. The normal path of sharing intelligence with a foreign country involves meeting with the intelligence agencies and talking through the repercussions and making sure the leader knows what to say and more importantly what NOT to say. Trump just blabbed, on impulse.. to Kislyak, a known Russian spy master. Since the word was out in the notes, they had to quickly do damage control… with Israel, because once Russia had the info, they could share it with Iran, the enemy of Israel. Great for international relations, eh? Thanks Trump.

    You mean this one?

Just more un-named sources, sorry if a source is telling the truth they don't mind putting their name on it. McMaster and Tillerson did.

What else do you expect from politicians with no experience dealing with secrets though? I had an experience involving the USS Cole that wasnt dissimilar in its context, just scope. People not accustomed to dealing with secrets, dont always recognize when they reveal them, or the significance when they do.

I expect them to ask questions and listen to the experts, then do what the experts tell them to do. He's the President of 300+ million people. He has responsibilities to act in their behalf, not his own.

And I hope some day in my lifetime we get a president that tries to do that.

I gave you the name- Tom Bossert. He is the Homeland Security advisor, a counterintelligence expert, and he made the call to the CIA/ NSA. That is documented. If you don't want to believe anything else, then don't. I'm not here to convince you of anything. I make posts. You make posts. I express my opinion and link information. You do your thing.

I can only lead a horse to water. I cannot make him drink. You must be thirsty. Take a sip… or not. Matters not to me.

I was a teenager during Nixon's impeachment. I remember the damage it did, even though it had to be done. I was hopeful my children wouldn't have to live through the same thing. They are adults and not teens, but here we are… with history repeating itself.

Again who wrote the summary notes and can you link to them. I can't find a single quote of anything Bossert said about classified material, only that he was there.

So you asked a question then completely ignore the answer to then go onto a "but what about this then"! Oh what a surprise

And you think that the following is a defense:
That is a sign of Trump's incompetence

The name of the note taker hasn't been released. We might know who it was, had American journalists been allowed in, like Russian ones were. Of course, Trump probably would have been more reluctant to talk openly about obstruction of justice and code word secret information, if American journalists had been allowed in.

I think you can rely on the fact that the person taking notes was one of Trump's staff, since they were in the meeting and no American journalists were.

Unless it was taken off a recording of the meeting, there were only 6 people there, so try and work out who it was - clue:it was written in English hmmmmm

Still no comment from you regarding Bossert and Mcmasters in post 233

Since Trump was elected we can't get the media to tell us why they make such claims.

Hillary has nothing to do with Trump leaking "code word" classified intelligence to the Russians. Besides that, defending Hillary is not my job. I'm much more concerned about Trump messing up my country.

There is simply no excuse for Trump doing what he did. He violated intelligence agreements with Israel. Israel is our friend and gave us helpful information on an ISIS plot/terror attack against us. Giving that information to Russia means they will likely share it with Iran, Russia's ally. Iran and Israel are enemies. So, Trump betrayed our oldest and strongest ally in the region in favor of Russia, who is not our ally. In return, the US got nothing. That's some top notch deal making, eh?

Trump was lifted over the finish line by Putin, have you asked why? Impeachment is inevitable hence the Trump cover up in progress.

What you said does not jive with irrefutable facts in evidence:

“We're not ever going to see the notes. They contain highly sensitive classified information…” (bois darc chunk)

1). According to WAPO, they had the “plot details,” therefore, the "plot details" were leaked to WAPO.

    2) Since “What was leaked to the WaPo was NOTES from the meeting,” and “They contain highly sensitive classified information,” therefore, WAPO’s sources(s) leaked highly sensitive classified information.

The Washington Post says, “The Post is withholding most plot details, including the name of the city, at the urging of officials who warned that revealing them would jeopardize important intelligence capabilities.”

That means that their source(s) revealed the “plot details” (apparently all) to the press, therefore, the only crime committed here was the leaking of the info to the press by someone not authorized to do so.

Do you support hanging by the neck until dead the WAPO sources who leaked the classified info to the press?

    {Only after you answer the question I can deal with what Trump did.}

Well, if everything published is discounted as "fake news," then it might seem like the media isn't telling us why, but that doesn't mean they aren't actually telling us why. That's ignoring that they are saying what's what and why. Why do people ignore the press on articles real about Trump? My opinion is they ignore it for partisan reasons. How can you see Trump lie repeatedly, yet still believe anything he says, especially over journalists reporting the truth?

Trump's wealth is directly dependent on his branding and marketing. He knows optics and wants things to "look" good. If looks matter, why did Trump keep all American journalists out of the Oval Office meeting with the Russians, but allow Russia's propaganda arm, Tass, in? Do you realize how bad it looks that Trump had this meeting because Putin asked him to, then denied any American journalists in to document the meeting for Americans? He then spoke extremely disrespectful about Comey to the Russians, and said now the "Russian pressure" was off. Then he went on to share "code word" highly sensitive classified information with the Russians and betray agreements with Israel in the process. How do you look at just those actions and see nothing wrong? And that doesn't even count the Flynn, Manafort, Page, Sessions, Kushner, and all the lying.

Let me ask you this…. If Trump is completely guilty of collusion with the Russians to win the election, what would he have done differently than he has done? If you just look at his overt actions, the things he has done are not the actions of an innocent man.
