Consensual unprotected sex isn't a crime and there isn't a proposal for it to be one. Besides, even if it were, correctly used condoms are ineffective 2% of the time.

It is under some circumstances. I don't see why a woman knowingly having an illegal abortion is not liable just like the doctor. This idea that "the woman is a victim" is a bunch of bull(*)(*)(*)(*) that many in the pro-life movement have decided to push in an attempt to get more people on their side.

Social stigma is a punishment in of itself and should be encouraged so that they will not continue with harmful lifestyles.

I think he said what he thought would appeal to voters in Wisconsin just before the primary there… because he's behind. Then when it backfired, his campaign looked for a way to walk it back and not alienate voters. He's been pro-choice most of his life, so he didn't have the pat expected answer in mind. I'm certainly no Trump supporter, but I don't think he walked it back as much as I think his campaign did.

As far as the question, it was a hypothetical one that he shouldn't have ever answered, if he had been prepped for the interview. Saying the first thing to come to mind and trying to spin it politically isn't his strong point and is finally beginning to backfire on him.

 

They will never get abortion banned, but if they did, the carnage the ban would cause would be far worse than abortion causes on its own.
