Ok, ignoring for now what Trump said or didn’t say or how it might be interpreted, it seems we agree that the concept of “Wall” is one element of a set of important elements of border security, right? I think the next step is to discuss the idea that the concept “Wall” could be a physical barrier, a technical barrier (detection and apprehension technology and personnel) or some mix thereof. I’d also point out that an unguarded physical wall by itself, without accompanying human patrols or technical detection would prove not to be very effective to various forms of penetration. That means, some form of technology and some amount of patrol personnel would be needed with any form of wall that we come up with from barb wire to a 10’ x 30’ concrete wall with spikes on top. So my question remains, what do you think would be the most cost effective form of border wall? Should we consider the effect on the economy of using various amounts of concrete versus technology and personnel barriers? I think we could also agree there is no reason to spend $25B if we can achieve the same low penetration rate by only spending $5B, right?

What really happened is that Pelosi and Schumer exposed themselves in front of the world that they didn't want open discussion (TRANSPARENCY) on the border discussion, where Trump was 100% alright with a discussion in the light of day away from the back rooms where Americans constantly get screwed over by Leftists.

Trump exposed them, and they didn't even realize it! Pelosi went for the trap! She actually said, "Let's not talk about this publicly". SERIOUSLY! America heard it, but the Leftists were deaf to it, because they are so out of touch. Big win for Trump and they don't even know it.
