You cant alter meanings of word as you please. "Race" has a really straight forward meaning, and you cant alter it so it would be as you state of mind.

Word meanings drift thru useage and time. Its a PROVEN phenomena that occurs in EVERY LANGUAGE.

Look up the meaning of race in the dictionary. Might be surprised at how much the word's definition has expanded from what you think it actually means.
