    Especially if some of these new treatments prove effective, we need to quarantine at risk groups and let everyone else go about their business, with extreme caution.

    Thirty days from now we have to restart the economy for the good of our kids and grandkids. Chloroquine has saved the life of Reo Giardinieri and is being used in New Orleans hospitals.

    That’s Graham’s position today.

    There must be a balance between the virus and the economy. Who is claiming that Trump will deny healthcare to anyone ???

    The medical experts give advice on the virus. But the economy cannot be destroyed to eliminate all risk. Seniors do not want to destroy the futures of their kids and grandkids.

    This justifies their actions? Democrats always use this excuse.

    Democrats are happy the economy is crashing and now they are trying to delay any relief to try to make people blame trump.

    This is just like when Democrats hid hurricane relief from hurricane victims to blame trump and write stories about how he didn't care.

    That’s ridiculous. The mortality rate in the US is already down to 1.2% and dropping.

    Most of the deaths in Italy are octogenarians.

    Being outside of a "risk group" does NOT mean you aren't going to die.

    In Spain, about 1/4 of the cases of those under 10 required hospitalization for survival. Those kids were at less risk in the sense that they were more likely to survive with hospital care.

    We need to be careful how we use "at risk". Overloading our hospitals is bad news for everyone.

    Everyone saw the Democrats cheer the crashing market and now everyone is watching the Democrats block recovery efforts.

    If you believe the Democrat party has the intrest of the American people at heart you're living in the past. Democrats today represent the interests of the world in America.

    Trump has NEVER insisted that everyone should get healthcare. That part of your post doesn't even make sense. He has ALWAYS seen capitalism as the method for alloting healthcare, regardless of weather all get it or not.

    When would Italy's economy have been better off if they had told people to stop staying home?

    Our COVID case growth rate is the same as Italy's. With all our info on Italy, how would you propose to have opened their economy?

    Go back and and look at the threads. Democrats hailed the collapse of the market as trumps doom. They seemed every enthusiastic about it. Anyone who has been following this can tell you.... well anyone with a smidgeon of objectivity.

    Now they block relief to make the pain hurt as much as possible.

    Everyone in the US has access to healthcare.

    Our mortality rate is 1.2%. The cases are increasing because more people are being tested. And the actual number of people infected is much more than the reported cases.

    "Have access" does NOT mean they can afford it. It's like saying you "have access" to a Manhatta condo.

    The real question is do Americans "all have healthcare coverage".

    And, unlike other first world countries the answer is cleary no.

    Low income people have Medicaid. And anyone with Corona will get treatment.

    20 million choose not to buy healthcare insurance.

    Part of the reason Italy has a mortality rate of 9% is the deficiencies of their government healthcare system. Also 85% of the fatalities are over 70 with health complications.
