The motive is to give the election to Trump, over the will of the American people. That's not hard to read when listening to the OP video. Plus, we all know Trump....

Golem went a lot further than that. He said "Which is that Trump's attorneys have only one interest. And it has nothing to do with election integrity. Which is to do away with the system in which the people elect their leaders. Instead seeking to substitute it with a dictatorship. "

Our constitution says legislatures set election laws, not bureaucrats, politicians or judges.
    I'm glad you agree

If it were the will of the people, you could win and comply with state law.

Hope you find those envelopes so that you can verify your ballots.

In fact, over-ruling the will of the voters to hold on to power is what dictators do, so @Golem was not wrong.

Really? Seeking to substitute it with a dictatorship? Show me in there where it proves that.

We certainly wouldn't want electors going against voters, right?

When was that. There's only been one other Republican President Bush and he lost the popular vote in both 2000 and 2004. Just like Trump he depended on the electoral college to give him a win

What would you call overthrowing the election and the will of the voters by lobbying the electors from the EC? Come on, let us know.

Any person loving their country would not support what Trump is currently trying to do.

I only speak for myself, read my prior post. I am not "you guys", I'm just me, Bob. People who love their country don't hold any one person ahead of their country.

Has the election been over throwed with force like a dictator would do? Nope. They are peaceably taking it to court.
Standing by them does not mean they are right. We are a civilized society. Generally we don't accuse people just because we have a Constitutional right to do so.

Unless you’re Trump and company and accuse the Left of stealing an election.

The problem is not that you or I agree. The problem is that Trump doesn't.

It doesn't matter what I want. It's what the voters wanted.

That is the basis of his case, acceptance of ballots not conforming to state law

It doesn't mean they're wrong either.

"Someone who does not know the difference between good and evil is worth nothing." - Miecyslaw Kasprzyk, Polish rescuer of Jews during the Holocaust

That depends on which "society" you're referring to. I've been around the block for more than 7 decades and I've seen far too many uncivilized and some quite barbaric "societies".

Explain that to your hero. The Constitution does not grant rights, it protects them from government and others who would abrogate them. My right to speak out is unalienable, so is your hero's, as a private person. The difference is he has no rights in his role as a state actor, only powers and privileges granted to him in Article II, which he has regularly violated.

Resisting state law was fun, for a bit, but you'll soon learn

If by voters you mean van loads of ballots dropped off in the middle of the night then yes, it was the voters' will.
