They were all supposed to be prepared. Being prepared was part of their jobs.

Then why did every other government of every other country on the planet fail to be prepared as well? Which country has successfully prevented even a single case of the current coronavirus from crossing their borders?

Schumer is just a big DPe crook.
AOC doesn't like the DP establishment and its crooks.
    Advantage AOC.

Governments are seldom well run or prepared for anything. It is the nature of the beasts.

Americans used to know better than to rely on them if they could avoid it.

"Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one: for when we suffer, or are exposed to the same miseries BY A GOVERNMENT, which we might expect in a country WITHOUT GOVERNMENT, our calamity is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer."
    COMMON SENSE, Thomas Paine.

By "pulling together" do you mean how the media in this country has been treating our President over the last 3-1/2 years? The whining started the minute he won the election. I think your protesting from 6000 miles away falls on deaf years.

Doubtful, considering we are a United country with a federal pool or tax monies..

I don't know why you think feigning obtuseness is a valid argument or rebuttal to anything I said.

and those blue states contribute more to the federal coffers than red states, due to their population, as well as being better economically.

    States don't contribute, people do.
Reps in blue states, Dems in red states.
    The country is essentially 50/50.

It’s not doubtful, Blue states are net contributors and red states are often net recipients of federal spending. It’s called redistribution of Federal revenue.

It’s how red states can maintain low state taxation levels.

    It’s one our ideological quirks.

Though it’s good you disagree with Trump and Kushner on the point.

no it isn't. blue states are much more populated than red states. Those blue states contribute more in taxes than do red states, as their economies are better and the states are more populated.

Schumer is right. The Trump administration is absolutely clueless. They’re not utilizing the tools they possess.

    Gov Cuomo bashes Chucky.....https://www.nydailynews.com/coronav...0200329-ow4kf63xxfgcvm2tky7j2a6lxe-story.html

“I say to Sen. Schumer, it would be nice if he passed a piece of legislation that actually helped the state of New York,” Cuomo said.

Meanwhile he has nothing but praise for the leadership of President Trump https://www.realclearpolitics.com/v...virus_crisis_very_creative_and_energetic.html

"He is fully engaged on trying to help... He’s being very creative & very energetic and I thank him for his partnership."

The Dems in Congress simply are asleep at the wheel, and less concerned with helping the American people then they are attempting to hurt the President. Party politics before country...heck Chucky is putting it before his own home town....truly sad

I'd rather he wrote a letter somewhere along the lines of: "Little Chuck, if I see you coming toward me on the street you had better walk your sorry wimp ass across the street right away and not even make eye contact with me. Have a nice day limp wrist"

You can try and spin it any way you want, but reality remains the same. Red states are a net drain on the federal government, while blue states are net contributors.

no need to translate as my post was in crystal clear English. You can hate the fact that blue states are more productive, desirable to live in and more successful than red states all you want, but reality doesn't give a ****.

Gov Cuomo bashed Chucky the other day in regards to his leadership, or lack there of....https://www.nydailynews.com/coronav...0200329-ow4kf63xxfgcvm2tky7j2a6lxe-story.html

“I say to Sen. Schumer, it would be nice if he passed a piece of legislation that actually helped the state of New York,” Cuomo said.

Mean while he has nothing but great things to say about the President and his leadership during this....https://www.realclearpolitics.com/v...virus_crisis_very_creative_and_energetic.html

"He is fully engaged on trying to help... He’s being very creative & very energetic and I thank him for his partnership."

It is very disappointing to see the Dems in Washington using this horrible Chinese Virus to try and score cheap political points, but it takes a crisis to really bring out the true colors of individuals...and we are seeing Nancy, Chuck and company for who they are....
