Yes. Because people are going to change their minds about someone simply because they say "Nuh-uh".

And what Trump is doing isn't "fighting". Or "hitting back". He's being a dick because he knows doing this, this way, will divert media attention away from him and his admin and the Covid response.

Didn't really work all that well though.

I accept your concession. Thank you for agreeing that blue states are net contributors and red states are a net drain.

virtually every metric is better in blue states than in red. From education, to GDP. Red states take more from the federal government than blue states. blue states contribute more to the federal government than red states.

Show me the study. The one I am most familiar with shows taxes paid to the federal government as the biggest factor. Since democrats love to see the wealthy pay more taxes, they should have absolutely no problem with this.

You are so right Butterballs. The Deep State doesn't have a monopoly on browsing political social media sites; though they would like too.

I know, it really sucks for you when you make **** up and attribute it to me then get called on it. I’m sure it’s frustrating for you.

My original comment had nothing to do with quality of life which is what this study deals with.

You made this comment "Huh? Red states are a net drain on federal resources/dollars. Blue states do better in virtually every metric. Where do you guys get this nonsense?"

My comment was "I am not sure what study you are using for this, but the one I am aware of mainly looks at the amount of taxes paid by the red versus blue states. The blue states tend to be richer and pay more taxes. However, that is the way the democrats like it. They like for the rich to pay more taxes than the poor. You can't have it both ways."

No it doesn’t. Quality of life is only one of numerous metrics measured in that study.

    Which is factually correct.
It’s just reality. Blue states contribute more than red states. Red states take more than blue states.

It is like I said originally. Blue states tend to have a higher income per capita than red states. Therefore they pay more taxes per capita than red states. I thought that was what the democrats wanted. People who make more money pay a higher tax rate than those with less income. You need to make up your mind. Which is it? You want everyone to pay the same in income taxes no matter what they make or do you want those who make more money to pay at a higher rate?

I don’t have to make up my mind. I’m simply refuting the premise of the OP. Blue states are net contributors. Red states are a net drain. This is the result of right wing policies.
