Oh, I understood it, alright. I know a wish list when I see one.

Boy, Trumpians can sure mess up an informative thread with their ludicrous replies. They don't want to know the truth and they don't want others to know it, either.

That is really sad. There is a lot of good info on this thread but you got to wade through their stupid posts to find it.

Great. Well then lets see if your imagination is anywhere near reality.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and laugh at the idea.

Given the facts I have listed , you still expect Trump to “drain the swamp” ? Even after the appointments he has made and their subsequent dismissals ? You might as well pray that Iran converts to Catholicism. It’s just as likely.

The Wikileaks campaign began in July. For four straight months, every single day, and right up to election day the voting public was bombarded by anti-Clinton disclosures, many quite damaging. Trump, himself, even encouraged the Russians. “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Mr. Trump said during a news conference. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

It is inconceivable that all this did not have an effect on the election.

All this brings up some important facts. Sessions himself admitted that the only time he has met with Kislyak was during the election season, never before July. Of the 26 members of the 2016 Armed Services Committee who met with Russian envoy Kislyak in 2016, Sessions was the only one.

Two more members of the Trump campaign’s national security officials also spoke with Kislyak in July, J.D. Gordon and Carter Page. Paul Manafort, the former Donald Trump campaign manager resigned over his lobbying work in Ukraine for the pro-Russian government. Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner met with Russia's ambassador to the U.S. in December.

Throughout the election campaign and beyond, Trump has lavished praises on the Russian leader. "If he says great things about me, I'm going to say great things about him." "I've already said he is very much of a leader. The man has very strong control over his country."

On the very same day that Sessions met with Kislyak, Sept. 8th, Trump appeared on the Russian propaganda network, RT.

It is true, the evidence against Trump is circumstantial. Now why is that? Well, it could be because the evidence against the Republican President has been in the hands of Republicans, a strongly loyal Jeff Sessions at the head of the DOJ, a Republican House, and a Republican Senate.

That is very likely to change with an honest, impartial, independent special prosecutor.

Mueller has all the same powers as a United States district attorney. This includes the ability to conduct a thorough investigation of potential crimes committed, issue subpoenas, and ultimately file charges if necessary.

The law states that the counsel shall "exercise, within the scope of his or her jurisdiction, the full power and independent authority to exercise all investigative and prosecutorial functions of any United States attorney."

In May, Trump fired Comey then bragged to two top Russian officials about it saying, "I just fired the head of the FBI. He was crazy, a real nut job. I faced great pressure because of Russia. That's taken off."

As President, Trump has yet to condemn Russia for attacking our form of government. Instead, he blames Obama. As President, in nine months he still has not taken any punitive measures against Russia for interfering in our election. As President, he has not taken any measures specifically aimed at Russia to prevent her from interfering in our 2018 and 2020 elections.

    There is still more evidence.

    Good morning

Emin just called and asked me to contact you with something very interesting.

The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.

This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump - helped along by Aras and Emin.

What do you think is the best way to handle this information and would you be able to speak to Emin about it directly?

I can also send this info to your father via Rhona, but it is ultra sensitive so wanted to send to you first.

    Best

    Rob Goldstone

    Junior responded immediately,

Thanks Rob I appreciate that. I am on the road at the moment but perhaps I just speak to Emin first. Seems we have some time and if it's what you say I love it especially later in the summer. Could we do a call first thing next week when I am back?

    Best,

    Don

Six days later Donald Trump, Jr., Jared Kushner, and Paul Manafort, Trump's campaign manager at the time, met with four Russian operatives in Trump Tower.

It sounds like your writing about Hillary, or maybe just jealous of Trump. Is Hillary the "one" for you. Is she the one sitting above Trump on her pedestal?

The [Republican controlled] Justice Department unveiled charges against three former Donald Trump aides on Monday in the first major public action by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and a top aide, Rick Gates, were charged with "conspiracy against the United States," "conspiracy to launder money" and other offenses on Monday morning. The two were expected in court in Washington by the afternoon.

The Justice Department also announced that a former campaign foreign policy aide, George Papadopoulos, had pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI. Papadopoulos, according to court documents, had extensive contacts with people he knew were connected to the Russian government, including one who told him Russia had "dirt" on then-candidate Hillary Clinton.

Washington (CNN)A former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser has pleaded guilty to making a false statement to the FBI after he lied about his interactions with foreign officials close to the Russian government, the campaign's clearest connection so far to Russia's efforts to meddle in the 2016 election.

In court records unsealed on Monday, the FBI said George Papadopoulos "falsely described his interactions with a certain foreign contact who discussed 'dirt' related to emails" concerning Hillary Clinton. Records also describe an email between Trump campaign officials suggesting they were considering acting on Russian invitations to go to Russia.

If you want to hold what the government and national news media says as truth, you go right ahead. But you will find it difficult knowing the actual "truth".

Let this sink in at least a little. Politicians including president's and everything therein (news media), do nothing but lie. Lies on top of lies, and then lies some more. That's all they do, do you understand this yet?

They lie so much, that they actually start to believe the lies are true.

American journalism use to be wanting to bust the government for their lies. Today they are paid to lie for the government.

Sometimes it is smart to say absolutely nothing.

Trump is incapable of doing that. His paranoid schizophrenia requires him to respond to a perceived threat or insult.

    Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

Sorry, but this is years ago, before Paul Manafort was part of the Trump campaign. But why aren't Crooked Hillary & the Dems the focus?????

So, Trump ends up making himself look like a fool ... again.

Naturally, the White House spokesperson, Sarah Sanders, wades in and joins the hilarity.

"Today's announcement has nothing to do with the president and nothing to do with the president's campaign or campaign activity."

Also, the President's spokesperson seems to have forgotten that Manafort was Trump's campaign manager. "The president hired Paul Manafort to handle the delegate process, which he did and he was dismissed not too long after that."

Is Trump so short-sighted that he thinks comments like these help him?

Try to imagine being Trump's lawyer amidst all this. On second thought, don't go there.

You are mistaken. You are being misled by the Trump administration. Trump is a chronic liar. He says whatever is convenient. What little truth there is, is merely accidental. Trump and the Trump White House, ironically, is the purveyor of fake news. I have found the news media to be reliable and trustworthy.

Trumpians need to believe that the news media is lying because they provide the reality of the Trump administration. This is intolerable to Trumpians because Trump is their savior in the white hat. So, not being fans of reality in the first place, they keep telling themselves that all the news reports about Trump are false.

They won't admit they really messed up.

According to the latest Gallup Poll, Trump's approval rating sunk to a new low, 33% with 62% disapproval. That is a historic poll. This poll was taken before the indictments were announced.

    http://news.gallup.com/poll/201617/gallup-daily-trump-job-approval.aspx

Yeah, I know, that's all a lie, too. :roflol:

When are you going to admit you screwed up?

If you examine the context of my post, you'll see that I was responding to someone's attempt to justify Trump's bizarre behavior by attributing it to the will of god. No mention of Hillary was made.

To answer your question, Hillary is not sitting on any pedestal that I hold dear.

    What are you defending ?

What an innocent President would say.

"By all means, Mr Mueller, investigate everything concerning this issue."

"I want to know if any member of my staff colluded with the Russians."

"What documents and transcripts do you need?"

"What do you need from me? I will be happy to help in any way I can."

What a guilty President would say.

Papadopoulos emailed campaign supervisor Sam Clovis and other campaign officials about a March 24, 2016, meeting he had in London with a professor who had Russian leanings. Clovis responded that he would “work it through the campaign,” adding, “great work,” according to court documents.

"In August 2016, Clovis responded to efforts by Papadopoulos to organize an “off the record” meeting with Russian officials. “I would encourage you” and another foreign policy adviser to the campaign to “make the trip, if it is feasible,” Clovis wrote," Washington Post.

Papadopoulos was also in contact with onetime campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. The emails were among more than 20,000 pages that the Trump campaign turned over to congressional committees after review by White House and defense lawyers, according to the Post.

Papadopoulos wrote to Lewandowski several times to let him know that the Russians were interested in forging a relationship with the campaign, court filings show.

In one email on April 27, 2016, Papadopoulos wrote “to discuss Russia’s interest in hosting Mr. Trump.”

The court filings indicate that Papadopoulos emailed “another high-ranking campaign official” on May 21, 2016, with the subject line “Request from Russia to meet Mr. Trump.”
This official has been identified as Paul Manafort.

"The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father. This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump."

By the merest of coincidence that was exactly what Papadopoulos was trying to arrange.

    It is not a coincidence.
