If I plan to go to a theater, which I don't, I would have secured my firearm in the vehicle before having arrived at the theater's parking lot so as to not be seen securing it in my vehicle while at the parking lot and running the risk of it getting stolen, or worse. It's not an unreasonable coarse of action.And while there are a lot of people who conceal carry here in Tx, we can't be literally everywhere at once.

 

When we go the theatre, our guns are locked up at home in a secure cabinet. Then we go to the theatre where the risk of a massacre never crossed our minds. I suppose all the alleged criminals are running about carrying them, whatever those alleged criminals are supposed to look like. Oh, forgot to say, this in the UK where we are responsible with firearms.

 

Death penalty imposed ... Shout out to the officers fine marksmanship. A shallow unmarked grave in the desert is something I'd recommend too.

There has been legislation to deal with red flag and gun registration issues. tRump claims he supports this, but nothing is done. Sensible people want restrictions on assault type weapons and accessories.

 

A problem is, these maniacs have no fear of death or imprisonment. There needs to be public torturing of these people. Capture them alive, then make their lives a living hell for a few days before killing them.

There are times that someone with a weapon is in the right place at exactly the right time and takes out the bad guy /terrorist. Of course there are no guarantees that any one action or any one law will be the solution to mass shootings. Banning all weapons besides being against our Constitutional rights is not practical and profoundly stupid. Arming everyone is stupid and would likely have horrible unintended consequences. As I always say- simple stupid solutions to complex problems are simply and stupidly wrong.

 

I agree that it was way too early for anyone even a talking head guest to opine as to who was responsible for the killings. Regardless of whether a network has a bent right or left I do not see how a network can be held responsible for what spi.ls out of the mouth of a guest talker. How is Fox responsible for Trump getting on Fox and spouting lies? How is MSNBC responsible for what spits from the mouth of that toddler AOC. Has Fox corrected or stopped Trump from spitting out lies? No more than MS BC stopped or corrected AOC from spitting out I nane stupidoties and extremist .eft wing nonsense.

I will say that if I was an anchor on any network and a guest was claiming it was a White or Black Nationalist or a BLM or Antifa or Sons of the Confederacy responsible I would tell the guest to go get proof or stop opining. Do you you see what I am saying? There is a diference between a network anchor reporting something versus a guest or a consultant opining.
