US and Australia history not so different

I don't doubt Europeans know more about America than we know about Europe. Even in America southerners are often misrepresented and perception is way off. Americans often think we are incestuous, racist, uneducated, religious zealots. If Americans are ignorant, I'm sure most Europeans are. I imagine Europeans are much more exposed to American fashion, entertainment, and music. For the most part Americans aren't interested in much of what is not America. Unless it is vacation travel.
I used to ask a lot of questions but quickly realized everyone felt compelled to chime in. Posters often misrepresent themselves. So I quit bothering.

 

My point really wasn't about what kind of people they are. It was more a demonstration of how effectively media and politicians have convinced a nation to despise countries and people they really know nothing about except what politicians and media have shown us.
I'm sure America is frequently misrepresented, too.

Tell the black populous in America about how well the government treated your people when they "helped them".

Again, you miss my point. Political rhetoric and media exposure can easily and effectively convince the public of almost anything by evoking our emotions.

 

Policians constantly pit various groups against others. They do it to maintain power.
I'll bet they have bipartisan committes to ascertain who needs to hate who and what talking points are necessary for each party to have pretty evenly distributed support.

The Jews are partially descendant from the Khazars, a Turkish tribe that converted to Judaism...Many settled in Ukraine, and see it as their homeland. (I'm just guessing here).

 

I know, blacks in this country were not treated well. But remember this, it was blacks who conquered other blacks and sold them into slavery. The Portuguese, Spanish and English set up forts on the coast of Africa, and traded for the slaves...They didn't go out into the African bush to hunt them down.

 

Perhaps, then, you should avoid American media and try a few other sources? Media-driven anti-Muslim rhetoric is behind much of the baseless animosity toward Muslims which we see on forums like this. 'All Muslims are bad' is the sort of hysterical propaganda preached at us during WW2 in relation the Germans. It made no sense then either.

Yes that's true, however, contemporary Jewish ppl are not the lineal descendants of those Israelites. Contemporary Jewish ppl are those who are European who rejected European paganism in favour of a religion called Judaism and so we're persecuted by their own ppl who saw them as traitors or in PF terms, progressives lol

Actually they did not, a ship loaded with a crew of 30-40 seaman, were not capable of invading African states.

Why were Africans willing to sell other Africans?

Yes they were, for the first few decades of the slave raids no exchanges took place and white slavers were capturing Africans from the "bushes (lol)". You only reading what you want to believe is true and not the actual truth. You are only kidding yourself.

I hope you understand sarcasm...and you may want to read some books on the history of the slave trade, not listen to high school teachers that have so much self loathing that everything is the white mans fault.

W. O. Blake has a really good book on slavery available as an ebook...I must warn you it is over 800 pages with very few pictures.

 

Ive been studying African history for decades too. If anybody you quote disagrees with me then obviously they haven't read as much history as me to find out the truth, simple as that. You try and be smart at mocking me but it only makes you look foolish

 

Please provide references then...I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong...Because not only have I studied it, I've been in Africa...So please provide sources.
