Vernon Jones is bringing to light a very important question about why Garland is only targeting one state.
Merrick Garland is showing himself to be an unmitigated partisan US Attorney General.

He is complicit in bringing forward a phony lawsuit for what purpose?
The answer is simple: He is just as much of a unethical twit as Stacey Abrams is.

Thank God that Merrick Garland never made it onto the Supreme Court. He has no respect whatsoever for our Constitutional government.

He is totally political and yet another example of a Progressive Globalist appointment lacking any ethical anchor.

That's complete nonsense! Who said he has to sue all states at the same time?

In any case, if he didn't sue other states I can think of several reasons: one is that maybe other states voter suppression laws were not as idiotic as Georgia's. I don't know if other state banned giving water to people standing in line, but it's stupid to even include that in the law. It just makes voter suppression obvious and Garland's job easier.

So it's not that Garland won't go after other states. It's just that Georgia's laws are so idiotic that he started by going after the low hanging fruit first.

Merrick Garland is not the guy the media sold us. This turd has zero respect for the U.S. Constitution and belongs no where near the SCOTUS. We dodged a bullet as a nation with him not getting on the court.

This is selective and political. Georgia will prevail easily.

Then it should not be such a hassle to audit and election, right?

Even assuming the OP is 100% right, I have said it a thousand times. If Trump weaponized his DOJ and gets away with it, then we can expect every Governor and every President that follows, to do the same to protect their leaders, party and constituants.

Dirty corrupt behavior cannot stay a one sided affair unless you like one party politics. . Trump supporters validated the Rosenstein and Barr efforts to use the DOJ for political ends, and Trump's direct interference to order the DOJ to stop some 'witchhunts' when they got too close to home, and demands that they start Dirty Donnie's preferred witchhunts. What's more they continue to validate those tactics when he was in office.

I guess we Dems are just bright students who just passed the class the GOP base voters taught. If Garland only targets red trump states, I say bravo! Its what Trump would have done and the GOP voters would have applauded. Garland is President Biden's personal servant, and the DOJ should do what its told!

    Great.
    Prediction noted.

    Btw, who is Vernon Jones?

A Former Democrat who is now an ardent Trump Supporter?

On Jan. 6, 2021, he attended the rally that occurred that day in Washington D.C. where he spoke to the crowd, stating that he stands “firm for President Donald J. Trump” and “they don’t know they have awakened a sleeping giant.” He then again announced that he was changing his party affiliation from Democrat to Republican amid cheers from the audience.
On April 16, 2021 in Liberty Plaza, Atlanta, Georgia, Jones announced his intention to declare a run in the 2022 Georgia gubernatorial election against incumbent Republican Brian Kemp. He was joined by 107th Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani and 40th New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik in his announcement. His announcement to run was came after there was wide-spread speculation that incumbent Republican Governor Brian Kemp may face a primary challenge after receiving criticism from Donald Trump for refusing to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

Other state laws weren’t changed to suppress suddenly heavy black voter turnout.

I think all states should copy the laws in the bright red state of Utah, what do you think?

The GA laws are directly targeting large population centers that have a substantial portion of minority voters.
If the AG can prove these laws do not equally impact all areas they will have a case.

Or do you support specific populations being targeted for voter disenfranchisement?

Again with this non-sense. Requiring an ID for absentee ballots (even the law has a provision to exempts you if you attest no ID is available) is not voter suppression while there are several other liberal states that have way more restrictive voter regulations. You guys can keep espousing the lie, but it still doesn't change the fact that it's a lie!

Ah, you think laws that apply to everyone hurt black voters because you think blacks are inferior to whites.

Did those states suddenly change the rules when black turnout increased?

Or Delaware. Some of the most restrictive voting laws in the country resides in these 2 states. Heck, event Colorado has less access in many areas compared to Georgia.

Says the party who declared it was the beginning of impeachment on day one.

The same party who paid a foreign intelligence agent to create a fake dossier to target a person running for president which they then used to justify spying upon his campaign with the FBI.

    Please spare us your projections.

It's called prioritizing. And yes manysbtates have laws forbidding third parties from approaching voters standing in lines and offering them free things. And in GA they have to stay 30 feet away but can set up food and water stands there and the election officials can set up water stations as needed so stop with this facade that I suppresses voting. OH and you can bring your own water and food and even order food to be delivered to you in line.

They were already more restrictive so why wasn't he going after them and he has US Attorney's in those states why can they only go after them one at a time?

Yup. The US Senate was correct in their judgment not to confirm him. He is unfit for SCOTUS.

Which is hilarious considering how ballistic the MSM and Democrats are going over Trump or anyone else challenging election security. Their memory is so short. Not to mention that Hillary went on for 4 years about Trump being illegitimate. Talk about MASIVE hypocrisy. And they think Trump is bad...HA!!
