Gun owners aren't the ones claiming laws stop violent people from killing other people, that's the left spouting that nonsense.

Walls work. That's why Europe is erecting thousands of miles of fencing and barriers to keep out migrants.

I hope I didn't ruin your catch 22 attempt, but assuming you are talking about supporting the second amendment (Not supporting inanimate objects) neutralizing ones position supporting border security, it is more than reasonable to support both.

While I would not hesitate to shoot someone who invaded my home, I have good locks and a security system. The two do not cancel each other out.

Incorrect, but I can see why anti-gun Euros think that way.

Wrong again, but good to see you recognized the "illegal" in illegal aliens.

Lots of work to do with Brexit. Why are you focusing on solving the US's problems and not the Brit's?

    Exactly !

Everyone knows at least a dozen or more illegal immigrants, and although most of them are hard working and indeed law abiding, many are not.

How about a zone between Mexico and U.S. for trade and work ?

A Zona Franca, very old concept, it woukd eliminate contraband and illegal drug trafficking as everything would be carefully supervised prior to delivery.

A wall produces expenses, a trade zone would produce without placing an unsustainable economic burden.
Deregulated Medical zones alone allowing unregulated testing of Pharmaceuticals and research of terminal diseases on the poor and destitute and terminally ill.

Hospital faculties and long term care would be a bonus.

Have your Gun Regulation if it helps pacify you.
The United States has a wide variety of strictures and non of the strictest States show any supperior achievement as far as crime preventive or crime control or crime reduction any more than do laws controlling illegal drugs, so what is the solution ?

Not eliminating laws, that is Anarchy and madness,

Prosecute Criminals, why is that so hard a concept ?

The wall will slow down the amount of illegal immigration and illegal drugs. The guns are to protect us from the determined ones that commit crimes. Sorry that your government doesn't trust it's citizens enough to make the right choice.

In the U.K. they've torn down the wall between their nation and the of the rest of the world, but it's led to more walls within their society.
If people don't build a wall around their country they'll build a wall around their house, living in gated communities, installing gated entry into the places they go to, but you can also see this with the level of cultural openness.

Yes, I do. Why is it impossible to support both?

The exact same conclusion to describe the gun supporters argument why they don't want gun regulations. Took a while but we got there.

Your government doesn't trust it's citizens to cross the road, jaywalking. You guys must be making the wrong choices, you incarcerate the most. Evident you can't handle choice.

Gun regulations slows down gun murder rates.

It has nothing to do with wanting or not wanting.

Gun Regulations are here to stay,
I am just not going to go further than the facts show, history, police work, Criminals needs to be prosecuted and convicted and prison time.

No, the British Government does not trust it's subjects.

Gun Regulations do not slow down criminal violence nor prevent it or reduce it in any substantial manner.

Prosecution of criminals and prison time is the true remedy

No, further gun regulations will not help either.

In my time as Constable in a Country with very strict Gun Control, was evidence enough of that.

That could work. Even GW Bush knew we needed immigration reform and advocated changes to work visas (along with better enforcement), but Congress thought otherwise. Not a conspiracy theorist, but it seems there's too much money in the status quo to initiate immigration reform.

What do you think they'd say if us Yanks kept harping on them to get rid of their useless royals?

Some may claim that, I don't. I am against most calls for further gun control because they don't have the affect that is claimed. Often times they are useless or make matters worse.
