If there was no vote on this “rule” the rule does not exist.

Which of course is why McConnell feels so comfortable I’m violating it.

Your contention is that rules can be made up by fiat. Flatly false

Absolutely. It's the left that's both instigating and tolerating the violence, that's always is demanding the things they want be paid for by someone else, who spending most of their efforts complaining, causing trouble where ever possible, and do damn little pitching in to help with anything. It's worse than pitiful.

Read the Kettering quote below. That pretty well defines the difference between the left and the right politics of today. Those who understand what they know and accept responsibility have power over their own lives, and have the power to change and grow. Those who don't simply blame all their problems on others, demand those others fix them and make them happy, while they deny any responsibility for their own choices. They have no power to control themselves- and believe the only way to fix their life is by punishing those they think control them until they feel better. Unfortunately they can't be helped; they already know everything and are unable to learn, to accept or utilize any new knowledge that doesn't fit neatly into what they already think they know. Can't do a thing for them until they are ready to change how they think, which may never happen.

No, what he did was find some bullshit reason he could use for a GOP talking point to justify holding off a supreme court hearing for almost a year and now wants to push through a candidate in record time now that its in their favor.

I love how its..somehow democrat hyprocrisy when the GOP are the ones who completely changed the normal procedure to begin with because of pure partisan and election reasons and now that the dems hold them to the same standards the GOP made, its somehow hypocrisy now

This whole "BIDEN RULE" crap is rediculous to begin with. Did Biden ACTUALLY hold up any nomination or actually through ACTIONS do it no..and his statement was in freaking 1992. We are talking about almost 20+ years ago. I guess according to Mitch logic if Dems get control of the Senate they can pull up ANY...ANY...GOP senate members statements that could be beneficial and be like..oh sorry...its the mccain rule..sorry, oh its the graham rule..sorry guys.

How many times can you dodge the point?? Or perhaps- not know that there is a point?
The KETTERING quote was referenced. The quote you highlight is also applicable- in that the left is absolutely confident regardless of evidence, truth or results- nothing phases their dedication to the destruction of our society. Of course you didn't think of it that way, because you have no doubts and never ask yourself of you have considered other views, looked for other possibilities. I do- and what keeps coming back only reinforces the observation of where the left is, and more slowly..... why, and who is behind the scheme. That too is revealing itself.

Show me some genuinely responsible behavior in dem leadership. That would be a magic trick- an illusion. I keep looking, hoping there is some actually rational dems out there. I know there are- just not the ones making foolish noises and embarrasing themselves. They will be secret Trump voters, too.
