As you know, I never claimed genocide. However it IS a mess. Violent, uncivilized in many areas. People live in armed conditions and gated communities because they have to.

Although I think the SA govt has been improving somewhat, I stand by my contention that the govt there has been greatly less than competent. I think it was neglectful of the UN not to offer guidance or some kind of administrative help transitionally.

That being said, I'm not a fan of the UN and that is an understatement.

I want to live in Sandbanks - Dorset - (Google it) but fer fiks sake - cant afford paying £10 million for a property there. The latest sale was to a Russian Oligarch who paid cash .(no mortgage)

B) Most Sth African Blacks (especialy in rural districts stiil vote according to wishes / instructions from their tribal elders.


C) No one can just go around marrying who they want. anywhere in the world , without agreement from the person they wish to marry .

btw - FYI - mixed marriages are still NOT allowed within Israel -.

D) - Most -( roughly 90 % ) of South Africa's natural resources was undoubtly re-invested in the ecocomic developementb of that country , how else do you think has become the most developed country i all of Africa. ?

In democratic countries you can only live where you can afford to live (not in apartheid SA). You knew that?

In every democratic country you can only have relations with a woman who agrees to it. In SA by law you were not permitted to sleep with a person of another race. Can you follow now? Quite a difference convincing a woman to sleep with you versus committing a crime because you do.

Blacks are free now to live wherever they can afford, have sex with whoever agrees - that is all a big improvement to jailtime for doing otherwise.

Of course mixed marriages are legal in Israel. You are talking nonsense. Show me the law that makes it illegal to marry a person of a particular race or religion.

I have named a number of the laws enacted there and whether you believe I come from there is irrevant anyway to the discussion. Plus Africanhope said the same as I have in his words. Lielbling , FYI - apart from thopse I'e already mentioned , the few Blacks (Xhosa) I've befriended in RSA are unfortunately amongst the disadvantaged and CANNOT afford Computers . However we stil, commucate Christmas , some B/days via snail mail, so I think I've got a fair idea of the situation.

There's nothing wrong with discussing the qualities or non-qualities of the South African government.
But why do you bother to mention politicians' colour of skin rather than just criticizing their policies, if you're not a racist?
