For one thing, if never for anything else, I'll always be grateful to Donald Trump -- he prevented Hilarity Clinton from putting even more hyperliberal, America-hating trash on the Supreme Court. Thank you sincerely, Don... but....

    1. "The Wall" is sheer idiocy! Long ago I suggested that he fly to Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas and get the military to take him on a tour of the border with Mexico down as far as Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, Texas. No one with any sense at all would advocate building a 30-foot high wall through country like that, stretching ultimately 1,550 miles from Brownsville, Texas to San Diego, CA. Building such a thing would be insanely expensive and difficult. The staffing and maintenance of such a thing would unimaginable. Instead, we should use armed DRONES which can be 'flown' from any U. S. military or Border Patrol installation. Also, long stretches of land mines should be added to enhance coverage in appropriate areas out in this wild, forbidding countryside. *** Note -- I've jeeped through this desert-mountain country, and I know it very well! Nobody but a complete MADMAN would even think about building a "Wall" through there.... ***

    2. Roll out a two-tier medical care system! And, yes, it would be "single-payer" with the emphasis on PAYER! The single-PAYER system would be for people who PAY to be part of the largest customer-base in the United States, by far! The insurance companies would bid for our business, in all fifty states, giving us much lower premiums, and little or no 'co-pays', 'deductibles' and all that other crap. Under this plan, Medicare would be rolled into this single-PAYER system because Medicare is a system into which people already were forced to PAY all their working lives, like Social Security. People over 65 would still have to pay, but the system would be much more efficient and streamlined, blending perfectly into a single-PAYER system. No welfare. No 'subsidies". You pay, and you're a participant -- period.

And, those who don't want to be a part of the single-PAYER system simply make their own arrangements for medical care, or, get the government handout welfare of Medicaid. Yes, we would still have to have Medicaid, because there are always some people who won't or don't participate....

That's it. That's all. It doesn't need to be anymore complicated than that....

    3. North Korea's nuclear threat against the U. S. and our allies. This "Cash Register War" involving nothing but 'sanctions' will do NOTHING. We need to squash NK like a cockroach. Hint: China would actually DO nothing about it if we did -- the Chinese need us a hell of a lot more than we need them....Taking decisive action against little Kimmy would eliminate the NK 'problem' for all of us and scare the living hell out of the other cockroaches, like the 'religious' Islamo-Nazi priesthood that runs IRAN.

    4. "Dreamers", 'Sanctuary Cities', etc. All of this unconstitutional, illegal crap should be done away with immediately! Declare martial law in those areas as needed, arrest local government officials who permit or assist in this illegal behavior, and restore law and order. Deport all illegal aliens except for those who apply for and obtain WORK PERMITS, which have specific conditions and deadlines. End of problem.

    5. Round up and shoot all the RINO's who contaminate the Republican Party! Well... just kidding.... You should TORTURE them first before shooting them!. :flagus:

About ten million voted against Trump but not for Hillary, coming to about 73 million to 62 million. Congress should consider the number of votes.

I agree it's a sizeable number of voters. So was 69 million. And yet I still didn't care about Obama's agenda, and I'm sure you didn't either. We were of part of that 69 million (I assume you didn't vote for Obama either).

It's an excellent term to define what Trump did to his base over DACA and the debt ceiling.

Trump, unfortunately for the far right, does not think that way.

He really never had any potential, Trump was/is considered an outsider and either party wanted/wants him in office..

The insurance companies rip us to death because there's no real COMPETITION for our business! They get to deal with us piecemeal, Margot. But, in a single-PAYER system, they would have to bid for the business with the largest customer-base in the country! As it is, "Obamacare" is going to cause premium increases averaging over 20% in 2018. Is that what you want...?

I know a LOT about the federal bidding process, and it is brutal! All bidders have to 'sharpen their pencils' and come forth with the best offers at the lowest prices or they get NO business! Moreover, the federal contract is not 'forever' -- no! The contracts would be for either three or five years max. THAT is how we get lower premiums, better coverage, and the elimination or reduction of the nonsense of 'co-pays' and 'deductibles'....

You honestly though he was going to boot out all those :) I don't know about you but when I'm selling something I don't start out at the lowest I'll take :) Hell bro, half that nonsense stuff like that is just to give places like this something to drive the drama levels up, a little common sense goes a long ways with this President!

I'm not a lawmaker, so I'm not ignoring anyone.

You must have been mad at everyone who ignored Obama's agenda and the 69+ million people who supported him.

We do not have a pure democratic form of government

The 62 million won the election not the 73 million

The duopoly won the election, and they will pass legislation that best serves their interests.

The federal bidding process is as corrupt and stupid as it is possible for humans to be

Right.. like giving the contract to the lowest bidder.

Is that how it works in the rest of the civilized world that does have universal healthcare?

You are right, aside from the SCOTUS selection, he's done nothing at all.

    Really?

I see a lot of Trumpsters making excuses for him going back on his anti Mexican rhetoric.

You seem to forget that Mitch McConnell met with his leaders on Inauguration day in 2009 and slammed the door on bipartisanship before Obama even took the oath.

That's funny, I am not the one who it needed to be explained to why Trump collaborates with Dems or not. It seems it was rather you lacking political sophistication in your opening post, because you didn't see Trump's super secret plan to screw the Dems.

I stand by my characterization of the situation I have posted above. Unlike you, I am not in danger of being disappointed by the president's future actions.

It has not been my experience that it is corrupt in the sense that you probably mean.

But institutional corruption is almost instilled.

My experience with Federal bidding is that it is arcane, needlessly complex and very opague.

Trump would say anything that would arouse the crowd. It doesn't have to be do-able or truthful.
