I knew nothing about Gomez prior to the show other than her having dated Justin Bieber.

I have been very impressed with her

Short & Martin of course are always great

My 20 year old son was the opposite, knew Gomez not Short/Martin. Now that he is into the show I showed him some SNL skits of Wild/Crazy Guys, Ed Grimley and King Tut to show him some of their comic genius. He liked the skits. Back when SNL was good

The idea of jumping 1000 years in the future to escape canon was a good one, but if you were going to imagine what the world of Star Trek would be like a millennia hence, you might come up with several imaginative scenarios. It didn't seem to me that they put much work into it.

Just finished up The Terminal List and started Paper Girls, both on Amazon Prime.

I have to say The Orville (on Hulu) has been excellent this year. The best Star Trek show that isn't actually Star Trek.

Did you know that Dan Blocker's son, Dirk Blocker, is in Brooklyn Nine Nine?
