This is 2022. And I am speaking about USA.
If you like Africa, or the 1700s, go there.

Blacks have been rioting to protest their treatment for way over 100 years.

It will continue to happen occasionally until we deal with the legacy of slavery.

We DID deal with it in 1964 and 1965, with the Civil Rights Act, and, the Voting Rights Act. But too many of them were satisfied by simply working the "White Guilt" racket ever since to get what they want, the easy way....

White Power is working to reverse both, and they are succeeding.

What possible justification is there to make a baseless statement like that? Both of those milestone Acts are rock-solid, settled LAW.

Nobody is trying to "reverse" either of them, and even if someone were stupid enough to try, they'd get no traction with the huge majority of ALL Americans....

Incarceration of convicted Blacks is scarcely an effort to undermine the Civil Rights Act of 1964 or the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

If anyone tried to overthrow either of these landmark laws, I'd be back out on the street, marching and raising hell... like so many of us WHITE kids did so long ago, while we were still in high school....

They've been doing it since the 1800s, so they can take away the ability to vote through mass imprisonment.

Jim Crow was suppressed, but we were not able to stop it, just slow it down.

ANTIFA is a misnomer. Their name should be ANTIRWFA or ANTIRightWingedFAscists. Oh yes, ANTIFA is for left winged fascism...ANTIFA are left-winged fascists.

BTW, BLM should be precisely called SLM for Socialist Lives Matter since BLM cares more for socialist lives than black lives.

BTW if some want to prevent racism, they should start by attacking BLM and ANTIFA.

The Blacks who were convicted of committing crimes serve prison terms, and, accordingly, in nearly all cases, are therefore not allowed to vote... and the same is true of all prisoners of ALL races.

You will argue now that the police and the courts go after Blacks more, and then I will argue that this is simply because Blacks commit more crimes, per capita, in the first place!

In any event, to postulate that any of this constitutes some kind of conspiracy to overturn either the Civil Rights Act or the Voting Rights Act is ludicrous....

Southern states have been doing it since the end of Reconstruction, which was in the 1800s. All you have is your fantasy world, that's the history and the reality. Read the New Jim Crow..

It's a small part of the White Power movement. And as I said before, it goes back to the 1800s, which means it was already there when the VRA and CRA were passed.

You could at least pay attention. Oh, wait...

Yes... 'Jim Crow' laws were there, starting back in the 1800's, just as you say. And that is exactly why we adopted the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Voting Rights Act of 1965!

Look... you can substantiate this claim you've made by presenting us with just one (ONE) verifiable example of where any prominent political figure among Democrats or Republicans has mounted an effort to throw out either the Voting Rights Act or the Civil Rights Act. If you can't, then give it up... because nobody but Loonie-tunes 'wokesters' and other reparations-miners are promoting this fairytale....

That was the custom and the original entry into the USA. And IMO, 90% the descendants of those slaves are living under better conditions in the USA now than they would in most countries in Africa.

    I agree.
    Violence in never the answer.

Thank goodness out of the tens of thousands of protests that occurred over the Ga Floyd killing there were only several dozens that went to far.
I hope they caught the law breakers.

Slavery is brought up because that is the beginning of the 250 yrs of systemic racism.
What they do in Africa is not affecting systemic racism today in USA. That is the truth.

There is no "systemic racism" in America, Dairy, but there certainly is in many parts of Sub-Saharan Africa!

And if you're a White farmer in the Union of South Africa today, you live in constant fear for your life and livelihood from both roving gangs of native Black thugs, and the Ramaphosa government that deliberately discriminates against its White citizens in favor of the Black ones....
