That made it slavery. Slavery is one of the main ways in which Man has been a wolf to man throughout history, possibly second only to war in its overall baleful effects

That being said it must always be recognized that the forms it takes have varied quite extensively over time. We would not recognize slavery as the ancients practiced it nor would they be familiar with, or countenance, ours.

I changed my answer to "moral equivalent to Founding Fathers" because they basically are. Morally, the Founding Fathers were violent radicals trying to get the rights they felt they deserved as Englishmen.

BLM is not nearly as smart as they were, nor as successful/influential among their society. Few people are or probably ever will be.
Just anecdotally and in reference to me that's bullshit. You may prefer to live among your own kind and you own religion but I find other Scots/Irish Catholics to be utterly insufferable a@@holes for the most part

Since you reference the bible and think that means people just want to live with their own kind, what about biblical Cain and Abel? Where a brother killed is brother?
I guess being 1 of 4 people on Earth wasn't close enough to being of the same kind?

Or perhaps, living with one's own kind isn't really the issue.
