I think we did that the last election. The federal Govt. Under the GOP has been “hugely “ corrupt.

If Trump supporters have anything * in common, it’s their incessant falling for everything form walls, invasions of everything from immigrants to body snatchers and drinking bleach.

Good Football play partakes of true intellectual elegance. Most chess masters, not generally a group known for athleticism, are fans

The power to reason is an intellectual capacity. Using that power against others is criminal and immoral. Sociopaths, people unaffected by empathy, use their intelligence to gain power over lesser endowed fellows and use them as a resource.
There were international laws that were broken in the Iraq situation. Those laws had been recognized by Congress, thus giving them the cover of the Constitution. Almost everyone in Congress was a lawyer and knew Constitutional law. The vote to break these laws was an act of political cowardice of the first magnitude. Fear of losing political influence trumped doing what was clearly right. Many of us foresaw the consequences of this act (unnecessary death, destruction and gigantic waste of treasure). We must assume that these "representatives" were not so much less intelligent than we that they could not also see this. How can we give such people a pass?
The political system that not only allowed this but actually rewarded the criminals is reprehensible is beyond description. And Iraq was not the first example, by a long shot. If we doubt the intelligence of the voting public, it is because this continues. One doubts the future of democracy.

That was no "purge". It was barely a slap on the wrist.

I still believe that the vote to give Bush the power to go to war was a constitutional act and a decision of giving him the authority he didn’t deserve, not one of the violation of the constitution. We’ve learned long ago after ww2 that the protection of our nation starts at the boarder of our allies.

Without solid alternative(s) to the two party dictatorship; all we will see is a return to their places of the malfeasant group already there.

I doubt you can call the Dems a dictatorship when they win the popular vote 7 of the last 8 elections. There is a false equivalency here. One actually considers science, the other literally lets their donors lobbyist write their budgets.

Too bad they haven’t found a way to deal with the head pounding which eventually turns the brain to “mush.”

Not to worry. The less intelligent of us didn’t mind at all.

Yes, and he specifically stated that the SAT, GRE, etc. tests you claim are not IQ tests are IQ tests. His whole presentation was based on IQ testing and relating tested IQ to genetic factors.

No, you made that up. I noted that as intelligence is the ability to understand, speed of technological advance, NOT level of technology, can be expected to indicate intelligence.
Is technological progress a function of intelligence or not?
What an absurd load of nonscience. Worms survive without the benefit of our modern technology. Does that mean they are intelligent?
No they weren't. There is no evolutionary basis for the increase in our cranial capacity other than to increase our intelligence.
So do rabbits. Does that mean they are as intelligent as human beings? What do you even erroneously imagine intelligence is?
So that makes them as intelligent as human beings??
How did we come to have larger brains than our forebears, if they have given us no advantage in intelligence? What other possible reproductive advantage could there be in lugging around more fatty nerve tissue on top of our necks?
That depends on the species. Neanderthals and Denisovans had brains about as big as ours, so it's possible. Homo naledi, not so much. We don't exactly know why anatomically modern humans supplanted the neanderthals, but superior intelligence probably had something to do with it.
Well, life is a lot easier with modern technology than without it, so the logic of your comparison is, shall we say, a little suspect.

I'm looking for a laugh emoji.
You say, "us"; I hope you don't think I consider you less intelligent than I.

Why shouldn't I rent out my head? I spend all my time here so it's not like I'm doing anything with it anyway.

Lots. They're delicious and not just for the Holidays. I have a cousin who's part of the movement to make Turkey meat the new hamburger. They could solve the methane crisis

Makes you wonder why “they” still allow it. Indeed, kids still play football. Money talks.
