As for anti-inflammatory effect, the protocols for the treatment of Covid-19 recommend dexamethasone, which is hundreds of times more potent as anti-inflammatory than any of the drugs these anti-vaxxers ridiculously claim to make vaccines unnecessary.

Again, we don't know. You said they are being tested. Perhaps those tests will resolve something.

Maybe the anti-vaxxers should be promoting ibuprofen. We "don't know", right?

    Hint: They're anti-inflammatories.

They should be promoting vaccines. My wife is an anti-vaxxer. She fear vaccines - all of them. She promotes nothing. Don't paint with a broad brush. I think fear is a pretty common reason for vaccine hesitancy. I don't share that fear but it is real for many people. Some anit-vaxxers are young healthy people who have no fear of the virus and see no point in the vaccines. I agree with them. I don't understand the fuss over vaccinating naturally immune people or people who have very little chance of meaningful harm from covid. My wife, like me, is a senior and really should be vaccinated but her fear prevents it.

I agree for the most part.

But, ivermectin has been found to be useful in treating some viral diseases, as I understand it.

Of course, what treats one viral disease does not necessarily have ANY affect on another.

imho, what is needed is testing that fully complies with the rigors of medical science. I think there are such tests in progress, but I know of none that are complete.

Well, anti-inflammatories treat the symptoms of viral diseases, not the diseases themselves.

Ivermectin is ALSO a Nobel Prize winner in Human Medicine.

They aren't "quack medicines"; they've been used successfully in several countries. In the US Big Pharma/Big Media are conspiring to keep us loyal to the "Vaccine, Mask, Distance" religion.

I can't speak for the effectiveness of Ivermectin, but both the vaccinate and unvaccinated in Florida swear by monoclonal anti-body treatment. My mother, brother, sister in-law, uncle, neighbors, and friends have received the therapy, and recovered from rapidly from Covid-19. My mother and uncle were bed-ridden. 1-2 days later, they were active. My bed-ridden next door neighbor had both doses of the vaccine, same story.

Vax-Nazis are going to attack every other treatment whether or not it works. The companies that manufacture these vaccines are corporate sponsors for many news conglomerates. The independent FDA panel was very clear that you should only take the booster shot if you're over the age of 65. Get tested if you have symptoms to catch it early, and get the antibody treatment.

"People like you" you don't even know who I am.

Call it whatever you want, but I'm not going to play any word games. Quick and easy solutions to complicated medical problems without broad consensus on the efficacy are miracle cures as far as I'm concerned.

They can't treat a virus. They might treat symptoms. Different viral infections have different symptoms.

Just curious, but what the F is a medical "configuration"? And to put a superfine point on it, are you also not aware that the FDA et al and CDC have approved off label usage for COVID? Evidently, you aren't aware of these things, nor are you willing to otherwise come off script for a minute. The Xiben folks are actively using legal means to attempt to hoard the drug. Why do you suppose they would do that?

That's my understanding - the attempt is to treat COVID, the disease, not SARS the virus.

I didn't use technical terms, because I don't fully understand them.

The fact that there are different products in the ivermectin "family" isn't a big deal as far as I can tell. The ones made for humans are well identified and require a prescription.

There are two different chemical formulas for ivermectin. I don't know how they differ in terms of what they do.

There are also "formulations" that are designed for specific purposes, such as one used to treat rosacea sold as soolantra.

There are also formulations for animals.

Again, the point I intended is that ivermectin has been certified as safe for human use.

But, it has not been certified as being useful in the prevention or treatment of COVID.

Fair enough. It has, however, been blanket approved as a drug that can be used off label. That means, even though it hasn't specifically been approved by FDA for COVID, it is not being blocked by FDA for use, and is currently understudy for its efficacy, and because it has shown beneficial effectiveness, it has been approved for further study. Which, again, is why the Xiben administration is actively attempting to hoard it. Which was the initial observation. So, nothing, except possibly you learned something, has changed from that initial observation.

That part of your post is abject partisan BS. And, I'm guessing you know that perfectly well.
