I actually agree with you there, but the US has held that its laws apply outside its borders, in many cases.

I have seen industry leave the midwest since the early 70's. I was never instructed in the past four years. I lived it in the 70's and beyond. You are just wet behind the ears knowing only what you have been taught in school and by leftist media.

 

If they are on our side and it US custody, then they are following our laws. And by custody, that also means legally released inside the country.
But if they are still on the Mexican side of the border, we have no laws there. And the vast vast majority are still on the Mexican side.

You're making that up. Most are still in Mexico. About 15,000 are in custody. And if in custody, they are not breaking laws. Their future is still in question. And our laws will determine their future. Here or sent home.

 

Who is complaining about them on the Mexican side? When did that become an issue to the US? I have been under the illusion that that is exactly where we want them to be.

They are breaking our laws crossing over to this side.

 

Most are not. If they are turning themselves in and asking for amnesty. As is the case today.

Many do cross for employment. And our gov't, both parties, allowed that. Because our companies need their labor. And the companies that hire them are just as illegal as those coming to work. But we don't punish our employers.
