I think there are republican bureaucrat swamp dwellers who would file a complaint against Trump simply because they do not agree with him. I had one person I thought might fit the profile. After reading the professionally written 9 page Legal complaint however I am of the opinion that the person is partisan, strongly opposes Trump personally and has a considerable amount of professional legal assistance and support. This second hand person's complaint reads like a report with several references to third party previously published media sources. There has been mention that the person is a CIA operative. That could be about anyone, but likely a young aide (pawn) being used as a foil for a much darker first person or group.

Yep, and the phone call does not back up much of the complaint. In fact it was not Trump that brought up Gulliani or Barr but the President of Ukraine.

There is a deposition from a Ukranian how Biden pressured Ukraine by withholding 1 billion to stop the investigation into Burisma which Biden's son had a part of. Obama was chastised for not asking for foreign help to stop corruption but now everything is again 180 for democrats, like the wall, because of TDS.

 

Discussions between foreign leaders are classified and we know persons working in the White House have illegally leaked such conversations in the past.

 

The several reasons have been stated and quite proper for a President to do.

Here's an idea... next time the ICIG speaks in open committee, have a Republican ask him about that section. You know, actually perform oversight instead of propagating BS... You bring up a good point and the ICIG needs to defend his determination.

But, I would guess the ICIG was able to speak to some of the people who provided the info to the official whistleblower during his 2 week investigation.

Trump brought up Barr when he asked for a favor. Zelensky brought up Giuliani when he responded because Giuliani had spoken to Zelensky's assistant the day before the call to set up preconditions.

We aren't at a trial phase yet. The whistleblower complaint was like a tip sent in to a hotline. Now we have direct evidence including the phone call, the dates the aid was withheld and released, and direct witnesses will be interviewed to tell us what white house officials and lawyers were doing and why. And Trump has told us that he, Mike Pence, and others have made additional phone calls. We also have Rudy showing us a message on his phone from the State Department on the matter.

Its weird they keep bringing that up. The government never investigated that claim as we aren't interested in verifying foreign smears of US citizens or leaders. All we know about it is that Trump gave us a fake alibi.

 

The working theory has always been - If any one piece of the Steele Dossier is untrue, it's all untrue... which isn't true..

 

All WH documents are classified until they are unclassified. WH documents are either classified or un-classified. There is nothing in between. No one except the president or the WH under his authority has discretion in determining otherwise.

I am writing specifically about the category Classified, not Sensitive, Top Secret or other classification levels. Official WH documents have a classification level. Unless the classification level is changed to Declassified, it remains Classified. Some documents are released as Unclassified so that there can be no misunderstanding. There is no sort of classified or not so classified category.
