    At the expense of every other civilization, of course, so no need to keep asking for gratitude when you really should be asking for the chance to say something smart.

    sorry but no other civilization is his advanced as western civilization. Everything that makes Modern Life modern is an invention of Western Civilization.



    no you're letting your butt hurt get in the way. Western Civilization created everything that makes Modern Life modern. And it's hugely influenced by white Christians. If you hate it so much go live in the Congo without anything white people made.

    black people nor white people owe the other an apology for the actions of people in the past that are no longer alive today, time to move on, were all Americans, we are all responsible to the same degree for America's past

    I'm not butthurt, you're the one who says we should all show gratitude to these great white Christians that made civilization but made life absolutely miserable for non-whites in said civilization.

    Although at least the Congo is devoid of self-congratulatory white people like yourself.

    separation of church and state and a secular legal system is what helped to make us modem, not ancient biblical law

    south of the border is much more Christian then we are.... something to think about

    if anything will be our downfall... it will be corporate greed

    We haven't lived by biblical law for a couple of centuries.

    Who cares? Predominantly white European Christians and deists created this country.

    I think the greed of politicians is more likely. If a politician does something in the interest of a corporation verses the people, like the last three presidents. It has yet to be seen with Trump but I'm not holding my breath.

    No, I'm just suggesting that the contempt for white people is childish. No i won't go to Europe. My ancestors took this nation from Europe. I'm rightfully here and i don't hold contempt for it.

    This may come as a s shock but I'm rightfully here too and my contempt is for people who think a "you're welcome" is in order despite the lack of freedom for other groups that came with it.

    Back during this country's birth and before that.....not so much. Your average black, Native American, Chinese, or anyone else back then didn't get the same freedoms and rights as others.

    but as for the original people that came here, they are also responsible for slavery and genocide of the Indians.... that is NOT white peoples living today's fault, people of that past did those things, white, Christian, whatever....

    we just need to keep moving the country forward, never backwards and we can't do that if we keep blaming current problems on the past actions of those Americans that came before us, we are the Americans now, all of us together

    Are you sure that's a recent map of world religions?
    Seriously, I do think non religious is much higher, especially in the US.

    If white Christian right becomes a picked on minority, I expect Guno to lead the way picketing for our rights and planning equality parades.

    At its most basic, the definition of a Christian is "somebody who likes Jesus", it's got zilch to do with joining a denomination or going to church or all that razzmattaz.
    The bottom line is there's absolutely nothing to dislike about Jesus, so anybody who doesn't like him is not making any sense at all..:)

    Yes its a personal relationship.The beauty of the church is that it is the body of Christ on the earth. No we don't have to follow every man made tradition and rule, but you shouldn't dismiss it completely.
    The fellowship of believers as they meet together in the assembly of the saints is truly a love offering. A group of people to love and reach out to others.

    For me and a lot of other people Jesus is our main man, but as we don't go to church and haven't been baptised, will we be going to hell?..;)
