White House to honor 33 year old Homosexual who had sex wtih 16 year old lad

Its not really pedophilia if the boy was 16, not at all actually. But its pretty dumb for the white house to honor him if that is true.

 

Wasn't there a Republican congressman from Florida who was tossed out because he had sex with a 17 year old boy? Mark Foley? Maybe he should be honored at the White House.

No, not a pedophile, though he was guilty of statutory rape, since California's age of consent is, and was at the time, 18. A pedophile is something who sleeps with children. A 17 year old (not 16) is not a child.
Hell most red states have an age of consent of 16.

 

Well since the two persons were not even in California when the younger was 16- or 17- that isn't the case either.

And since neither of the persons in involved a) ever claimed to have had sex together when the younger was underage and b) since both are now dead there is absolutely no way to know now.

 

I know my life has ended...... considering it happened in 2014 and we are just a hair away from 2016 and this is the first I have heard about it that my life has ended...... 2 years retroactively.

It does not matter what state they were in, the age of consent goes by the state of residence. Milk lived in California at the time, and so it was illegal for him to sleep with someone under the age of 18, even in a state where the age of consent is lower. This has been federal law for years.

 

It's different when your gay. Nobody could possibly be gay unless they were recruited. So you see it's always exploitative when it's a gay man with a younger gay man.

According to several people my husband went to church with as a boy, I recruited him. He didn't want to be with a man at all...He hated every minute of it until I successfully converted him...lol.

And yes, I do have a problem when middle aged men have sex with 16 yo girls, even if the girls are prostitutes. For example.... Jared Fogle was not trying to "SAVE" those 16 yo prostitutes.... he was exploiting them.

No- Milk and McKinley both lived in NY when McKinley was underage. Whether or not they have sex no one actually knows since both are dead and neither of them ever claimed that they had.

McKinley moved to San Francisco when he was about 21, and Milk later joined him before they broke up.

I heard all of this crap before- and after hearing it often enough I bothered to learn the facts.

 

Here is the thing- we do know that Milk did take McKinley off of the streets and out of prostitution- we don't know that they had sex when McKinley when he was underage.

But Americans do look at such things very differently when the 16 year old is a girl- and the man is popular- in the same era, Elvis invited 16 year old Priscilla to move in with him.

And millions come to his home every year to see the bed that they slept on.

Even before the trial, Jared Fogle was fired from Subway for the LOOK of impropriaty of sleeping with 16 yo prostitutes. and rightfully so. Had jared ate a footlong bullet prior to the trial, like Milk, would it have changed your opinion of Fogle?

Milk was never convicted of any crime.
There is no evidence of any crime

If Jared had never been accused or arrested and there was no evidence of Jared committing a crime- yes I would think that Jared was a victim of a cowardly murder by a disgruntled former city supervisor.

I guess the difference between you and me is that I don't think people should be murdered- and I also don't think that you deciding someone is guilty makes murder okay.
