I was discussing this with a poster and it's about all white and all black neighborhoods.....what you personally, and ONLY, experience is not true for the entire world.

What started this line of discussion was my asking how a cracker feels walking in a black neighborhood. It's a perception, not a reality. I've walked in them many a time with no concern and I don't mean just here where whites make up less than 1/100 of a percent of the population. I mean DC and blues bar hopping on the South side of Chicago. The overwhelming majority of blacks just like the overwhelming majority of police are good people.
Perception is paramount. Until blacks can feel that the crackers on police forces will be shunned and disarmed they won't trust any police.

It appears the FBI tells us that Whites commit fewer crimes per white capita then Blacks per black capita. So perhaps, when blacks commit fewer crimes per capita, the police will also trust them more? Is it possible?

 

That does NOT prove that it's the same all over the world.....see, there are different places from where you live.....did you know that? heck, there's even other countries!!!

Good point to bring up. Your stats are for those convicted of the crimes and this is another problem with the system, blacks are more likely to be convicted of crimes. Take George Floyd. The right makes a big deal of his rap sheet describing him as a career criminal. Almost all of his charges were for possessing less than a gram of coke. How many here that went to college know classmates who possessed and or sold more than a gram of coke? Did they go to jail? Did George Bush Jr? Marijuana possession? I know I've been guilty of that a time or two. Do you know anyone that got arrested for possession? Can you imagine if cops did a stop and search program on college campuses? There wouldn't be enough cells to hold them all for arraignment. The ACLU says that 3.87 times as many blacks are arrested for possession than whites even though there are far, far more whites smoking pot. Have you ever looked at pictures of legal pot stores? Ever seen a white person in one? Plenty. Have you ever seen a black one?

53% of all murders, did you know that 40% of murders go unpunished? How many more are plea bargained down from murder? Most victims knew their killers and the first suspect is almost always the spouse. An interesting stat would be how many white men an women were able to plead guilty to manslaughter rather than murder compared to blacks? That stat has a huge amount of room for error. Do blacks get probation for afluenza?

On and on it goes. If the criminal justice system started treating blacks equally to whites, starting with the police, do you not think that those stats above would change dramatically? Do you not see that black communities would then assist the police to rid them of the nastiest among them? It's why towns become sanctuary towns. The more people that trust authorities to not arrest them or people they know for being illegals the more they come forward to report crimes, send their kids to schools making them less likely to grow up to be criminals and all the other things you take for granted to be good neighbors. Essentially we need sanctuary cities for blacks where they need not fear the authorities.

this cop escalated it, this man died because of these cops escalating the situations, even most cops agree with that

but your proving my point, even when the suspect is white, some people defend bad cops

I do not think everyone that defends bad cops is a racist, some of them just support bad cops

 

Not to mention the confusion of being treated like this when he had not committed a crime. Yelling at him to keep his hands in the air or be shot, if he falls over it better be on his face with his hands still up. The shouting goes on for him to crawl towards the cop right after being told to keep his hands straight up. Now he's been told to crawl or die and keep his hands up or die. Which do you do?

OK, guy. You dont know my small town, most people know other folks, by golly would you know, some whites even live there? I even have black neighbors on one side of me. But there are hoods in Tampa, where I used to live, I would not go on a bet.

Why not? You dont even know me guy. I just went down MLK on my bicycle the other day to patronize a black owned food truck I saw on FB. I was neither robbed nor assaulted. I often go the Fiesta Mart in the hood for my beer and smokes, have been for a decade. You might be afraid of blacks but I'm not.

 

Take out the elderly and the young and narrow it down to the men and probably 5-7% of the population of committing those crimes.
