What unqualified, overgeneralized, absolute statements! In other words, such statements not grounded in reality!

Also, why do you have an American flag as your profile pic? I mean, considering who you are as a person, shouldn't that American flag be on fire with people stomping on it? That would correspond with who you are.

Here. This would be a better profile pic for you:

Again, these are overgeneralized, unqualified, absolute statements! In other words, they're wrong, and they're racist.

They’re not wrong, but I agree they’re racist
Let me guess..you’re a white man. It is obvious that you don’t understand racism if you think these are just overgeneralized. I am not saying this happens to every single black person but these are very common. When I taught in New York my African-American colleagues would ask me to hail a cab for them because they wouldn’t get picked up. My students in my prejudice course told me how it hurt when they got on the bus and women pull their purses And my friend who is a ceo and has a BMW and a house in the hamptons is stopped too many times, especially when he has several black guys in the car .

You're using anecdotal evidence to try to justify a concept that you argue is systemic and institutional. This is a logical fallacy known as a non sequitur, as anecdotes by themselves don't carry the weight of the claim--that there is this privilege that whites can have that blacks cannot have.

    That's right.

And we did not have a Right to discriminate, illegally, against Blacks for the entire 155yrs now since Slavery ended. That Right was legislated away, in 1863, yet we White Americans still found a way to successfully discriminate and lie and cheat, in order to compete against Black citizens.

Blacks do have the right to Equality, under the law, and vehemently since 1964 legislation we continue to rape them for that equality. So we Whites should be forced to, fairly, give back much of what we have stolen for 155yrs in fact. But you clearly don't understand.

Think that might have something to do with the absurd level of violence and robbery they commit?

If you knew the person getting in your car was statistically 10x more likely to rob or murder you than the other guy you might pick up.

Who are you going to pick up?

Not to mention the well-documented fact black people don’t like to tip.

    Just to source that...

No see WE didn’t do anything. OTHER white people did those things to OTHER blacks people.

But now you’re suggesting that white people, even those who immigrated here in the 2000’s or who were dirt poor, whose Irish family had been enslaved... every white person today must pay for the actions of other people from years earlier, who had the same color skin as they do, that they had NOTHING to do with in order to benefit people who NEVER experienced that discrimination.

If true, then you greatly outdid him here as you in fact managed to combine two (2) logical fallacies in making your fallacious point here. Yes you perfected, both, the Straw Man and especially the Slippery Slope logical fallacies within your Kobold post here..

Especially where you misjudged him as using, anecdotal evidence, after you pretended that a problem is not systematic and institutional. That was a Slippery Slope fallacy, masterpiece, but ooooonly because you already knew ahead of time that he was not giving anecdotes but merely giving minuscule contextual examples of White Privilege as a colossal force ---so very systemic and institutional!

Oh yes indeed WE did do something to Black people and we continue to do it.

We hath kept our foot on their, necks, every since our White ancestors put our foots on their necks after The Mayflower docked.

Even great White Supremacist, Ann Coulter, won't deny that we owe Black people reparations:

But let me guess. You would tell me that black people who don’t commit violent crime today aren’t responsible for the violent crime committed by other black people. Right?

So why do you blame all whites for something they had nothing to do with?

And should any blacks hold responsibility? Given that the first legal slaveowner in this country was a black man who sued for the right to keep his indentured servant as a slave for life?

You likely don't realize this but your post here basically, supports, the same racism chains which we report Black people suffering within.

For example, look at how your mind felt that the "10x more likely" scenario was appropriate to apply to Professional, intelligent, decorated Blacks looking for a cab.

They worked hard for, years, to be respected in the legal way which the American Dream demands. Then once they succeed, but remain Black, they still can't get a cab in a racist country. And your post, just mocked them. You just threw their dilemma, to the wayside, all because of what violent criminal Black people do.

Sir, the peculiar institution attitude which your post just prescribed, is exactly an example of the legacy of Slavery which we keep saying puts today's Blacks in order for reparations. Yes sir. And not only because of the roguish/criminal lifestyle which our White racism has caused Blacks to resort to, after we ostracized them from mainstream society, but also because of the disdain and castigation we burden the honest hardworking Black citizens with ---all because their skin color looks like violent criminal Blacks' skin color.

No see those are called statistical facts. Not discrimination.

It’s a FACT they are far more likely to rob, murder or rape you. Even the middle class and rich ones are far more likely to engage in violent crime than their peers within the same income level.

Let a cabbie drive down the road and see a white guy with saggy pants, a fubu shirt on and gold chains standing next to a well dressed black man and watch how fast the cabby picks up the black guy.

The problem is that regardless of income level blacks are more likely to commit violent crime than their peers.

That’s not discrimination... that’s statistical fact.

Yes and she’s talking about civil rights. Not reparations. What she’s saying we owe them is equality under the law. And she’s pointing out we DONT owe illegals those same civil rights because they’ve done nothing which would suggest they should procure them.

You are comparing apples to oranges, by bringing this into the discussion:

violent crime = White slave owners used to beat Slaves with whips.
violent crime = White police and White citizens used to lynch Blacks.
violent crime = White people used to brutalize slaves who they'd see walking around in the society/away Master's plantation while performing some chores.

Altho that is true, notice how, not once have we ever heard of today's Blacks saying that they want reparations to be about Blacks being legally able to get violent and go brutalize White people?

Again look at how your mind felt that the "10x more likely" scenario is still appropriate to apply to Professional, intelligent, decorated Blacks who deal with Institutional Racism which their peers will never know/never be haunted by.

All right, let's see what you have on me.

How is that a slippery slope fallacy? Ironically, this looks like another example of a non sequitur. It's ironic, as you are using a non sequitur while stating that I was being logically fallacious.

(Also, side point, you are not Emily Dickinson. An evidence of your intellectual shortcomings is your misuse of capitalization. The word "slippery slope" is not a proper noun.)

    Uh-huh.

Where did I create a straw man?

Thanks to the legacy of Slavery. I repeat, legacy.

What you failed at understanding here, is how, we now owe them something because we already gave them Equality (1863 & 1964) but that did not work. Yes, now we owe them something, after the 150yr-hypotheses, proved the theorem that we are too racist to treat them like our equals. You have to admit, 150yrs, is long enough to get it right. We have had 15 decades to show our Good-heartedness. We failed.

So now, we owe them reparations. Big time, too!

But that’s true with black slaveowners too. Such is the condition of the slave. Hence why you fight to the death rather than become a slave.

That’s because it’s true. Rich blacks are disproportionately likely to commit violent crime at their income level than their white and Asian peers.

That’s just a statistical fact. I can’t help it. It’s not my fault. If it upsets you then tell them to stop committing so much violent crime.

And that is true only because Professional, intelligent, decorated Blacks deal with Institutional Racism which their peers will never know/never be haunted by.

Institutional Racism creates PTSD which can easily haunt successful Blacks, who worked harder than their privileged-peers that are being racists at the top. This is a factual reality, which your arguments always refuse to account for when analyzing our democracy's Republic, 1st-World society.

It is the foundation of your, illogical premise, within its purest form.

No see and here is where your argument falls apart. It is IMPOSSIBLE to legislate individualized, social or cultural racism from a society. Completely impossible. Therefore to attempt to do so is folly and only results in the types of racist and discriminatory policies that you’re advocating for.

What we can, should and DID do was remove the legal form of discrimination. We remove government sanctioned discrimination and racial prejudice. We provide them a legal foundation upon which to seek redress for unlawful discrimination.

Was it perfect and did everyone comply immediately? Of course not. After 700,000-1,300,000 people die violently in a 4 year period under the guise of freedom for slaves where 100,000+ men aren’t given burials and simply never come home to their families... yeah there’s going to be some resentment and anger. Was it right? Of course not.

But there is a distinct and fundamental difference in individual and government sanctioned racial prejudice. And we removed unequivocally the legal, systemic institutionalized racial prejudice against blacks.

And now you want to do the EXACT same thing to white people who had NOTHING to do with it, the VAST majority of whom believe it was wrong. If you think that’s not going to breed hatred and contempt within a population who is currently sympathetic to the other sides plight... you’re going to find out.

Just thought I’d add. The suicide rate for farmers is twice that of veterans. Do you really think they should be denied any government funding allocated for farmers simply because they’re white?

    I mean Jesus Christ dude
