Heterosexuals would also have that in common. The difference is not what is "normal". Our society does not see pedophilia as acceptable as a minor is not able to give consent. Moreover forcible rape (as these cases were) is wrong no matter what age the victim is.

My theory is this. Pedophiles realize that society does not accept them, perhaps many realized that the church offered them access and trust from parents with children, and an explanation for not forming any type of sexual relations or connections with adults. Its hard to rationalize why the catholic organization allowed so many pedophiles to hide within their churches, perhaps shame and fear of having their congregation turn on them made them cover up these atrocities. Whatever the reason it is truly a shame and disgusting, I was raised Catholic so I know it is not a refection of the entire church but I do agree they seem to be disproportionally infected with pedophiles.

 

The cases of child abuse in the catholic church are starting from strinking hairs without allowness or beastings because of wrong concepts of educational sciences to real sexual abuse. By the way: The crimes of pedophile men are in most cases not the worst crimes in this context - pedophile men are not automatically barbars - the worst crimes are because of inadequate feelings of might. Sometimes someone is even murdering children only because he likes to hide crimes.

Close your eyes. Relax. Now go into your thoughts and try to find out what you are in the moment really knowing about a concrete case of child abuse of a catholic priest and what really had happened in the catholic church in this case. Try to find out who said to whom what. And now tell me again that someone in the catholic church ever was convinced he is hiding someone so he is able to do a crime on children. If you don't know facts or the facts you know are are wrong and without substance then ask yourselve why you don't know facts or why this facts are not real facts. If you know a case of child abuse then analyze it very good and ask yourselve what is all around you really happening.

I read a long time ago a very old book of an abbot who had such a problem in the 192x years. He just simple did not believe what another monk had told him and he thought the warning was not a warning but defamation. Some times later he was very shocked and he fired the criminal monk. He was very very unhappy that he made a wrong decision first. Another example from our times: I read in the newspaper that a football trainer abused children. The football club had engaged the trainer although the people there knew that he was convicted of child abuse. They thought it's a miscarriage of justice, so they gave him job. ... And so on. ...

Why are you ashamed for something what you did not do - or why do you think someone else should be ashamed for things that he did not do?
