Why do men like to kill men? At times of war, many men smile in the anticipation of killing another

Well, yes things changed and objectives changed as we became marred in the Afghanistan war. Things weren't even wrapped up after two terms of George W Bush, and then Obama's 2 terms, and now, at least, 1 term of Trump. This was one of those forever wars that people complain about.

Now, the USA is negotiating with the Taliban for our retreat. They're back!!!

I honestly believe had we stayed aggressive, there is a chance that maybe they could have developed some sort of loose democracy.

But really their religion and our definition of a democracy are incompatible.

I do feel bad for a lot of the people there who helped us. All the boys who used to come talk to us when we passed through towns have probably been murdered or forced into combat. The females, I'm sure, were punished as well.

They're just living in a different world most people couldn't fathom.

I'm sorry you don't like the truth, but the truth it remains.

    No.

Baby research shows we default to cooperation as that is the best survival strategy when we are the weakest and most insecure animal on the planet.

Your repetition of opinion was not required, but you used it to detract from the fact that you could not name your ideals for our fittest attributes?

Denial of statements are easy. Filling in the blanks you create are the hard part.

Do the hard if you want to show your fitter answer.

    I agree.

That is why movie land is working so hard at making new action hero women with ton's of killing powers?

I'm sure you have noted the trend.

I don't recall you listing your "ideals for our fittest attributes" here except for stating that "men like to kill".
That's just your opinion. I don't agree with that idea.
It's not even clear that you yourself agree with this statement....
    Do you agree with it?

I had no better way to state what I see as our basic instinctual attributes. That is why I wanted you to put some alternative there for us to see, instead of just your denial.

If he is wrong and you are right, then you must have had other attributes in mind.

Show them or have the couth to apologise to our friend.

He put his thought out for criticism. You seem to fear doing the same thing.

Baby studies also show we are inherently racist.

Perhaps they are only cooperative with people who look like them.

Show the studies you have in mind.

The ones I have seen of that type is blacks not liking blacks as much as whites.

We see that same thing in India and their Bollywood. They try to get the lightest skinned performers as that is what the population like the most.

    Strange to me, but true.
If that is what you meant, no references are required.

Yes. Though I'm not certain what you are asking specifically what I agree with.

"Babies show racial bias when picking playmates, a study suggests.

Infants aged 15 months normally choose a playmate who is perceived as being fair, sharing toys equally for example, regardless of that person’s colour.

But if a baby sees a person of the same race as them unfairly distribute toys in a way that benefits another of their race then the baby wants to be playmates with that person.

Babies are also more likely to help those of their ethnicity, an effect known as in-group bias, where people favour those with the same characteristics."

We are all tribal and that is no surprise. We all have in group biases. That is why diversity courses are being offered in many schools and workplaces and why things like employment equity laws get passed to curb discrimination against minorities.

There is a term used in the U.S. for that that was specifically passed to help non-whites but It does not come to mind.

My disagreement with your opinion is already being criticized by you.
So why would you think I am in fear of your criticism?
Do you really think I need to apologize for disagreeing with someone?
Okay I apologize for disagreeing with Mr. Rob.
I don't believe men are born with the desire to kill other men or dominate anything at all.
Where did you come up with such an idea?
Do you choose to believe your assumption to justify your own desire to kill others?

That's one of the reasons why you do as much harm as possible to the enemy and kill as many of them as you can. The more you can make them suffer and die, the less they can make you die and suffer. Like the Bible says, there's a time to kill. There's not a thing wrong with it.

Yes the fact that you refer to yourself as the "Greatest I am" suggests there is very little chance you are open to any opinions that differ from your own anyway.
Kind of like the Trump attitude. Maybe you're the one who's been "Trumped".

That's human nature. Man is himself the worst predator.

Our technology and power has changed us.

We began as the most insecure and weak animal on the planet and when from prey to predator in a relatively short time.

I hope our growing pains does not led to our extinction but I see it as a close thing if the experts that we are ignoring are right.
