I am fiscally Conservative, and I am not a Trumpist. As much as some would like to think that belittling name calling is anything but divisive, it really falls into the same category as calling people 'snowflakes'. Sad, but inevitable.
If you can't see what I'm talking about you're not paying attention to the national domestic economy of the United States or the international markets.
I am aware of international markets, but again, many are exaggerating cyclic fluctuations. Our biggest worry at this point IMO, is stabilizing the economy here.
There is no salvaging a train wreck, this country crossed the economic Rubicon a long time ago. Donald Trump is trying to put a bandaid over a gun shot wound, this will end in tears for all.
I know very few but once knew many. Republicans once believed in fiscal/social responsibility and conservative minded policy but no longer, so I had to leave.
Specifically, which stocks will fall the most, and when will they do so?. None of this vaguery now, I want exact dates and names, oh, and by how much please
All of United States stocks would because what would initiate it is the loss of the United States dollar as the world reserve currency. Could be a bond market collapse also which is a possibility. I and others predict somewhere between 2019-2022
Regarding the Constitution as the anchor preventing your country from slipping its mooring into a sea of chaos is really stupid. Read my lips: the problems the US is facing is due to the interpretation of the Constitution “as is”. Do you want to save your country? Then the only thing you can do is scrap the Constitution and re-write a new one that plugs the loopholes. The bottom line is that the US has nothing with which to hold it together and the Constitution is precisely the widening crack that will destroy you.
Can't say I ever did for the most part, but definitely didn't with the Democrats fiscal plans. *shrugs* Can't win them all. Do the best you can with what you can, and plan for the worst.
Not to be trollesque, but why not migrate? Seriously? I know people on the left hate the US. They hate it's culture, it's history and it's people. And when an election (or in this case a dirty pool court fight) doesn't go their way they all say they want to move to Canada or something. And then of course never move. But the truth is that millions of people around the world migrate to countries they prefer more than their own. For some reason, Americans seem to be mostly immune to that, but why? The truth is, there are a lot of countries out there that have all or most of the things that leftists claim that matters to them. If you have no attachment to the US, I have to ask, what's keeping you? For the right, it's a different situation. It doesn't get any better anywhere else in the world for us (Maybe Switzerland but that's iffy), so we really have nowhere to go. But you as a leftist have plenty of places to go. So...why are you still here?
I voted that I will stay and fight. I consider it my patriotic duty to fight to eliminate, white supremacy, xenophobia, anti-Semitism, and misogyny from my country.
I don't understand, as a leftist the ONLY country that has as many things that matter to me is the USA, besides I have a very great attachment to the US, I was born here, it is my HOME. I have NEVER said I would leave the US, no matter WHAT happens. If things should get bad here I would still never leave. What kind of person do you think I am, that I would abandon my nation when it most needs me? And where in HELL do you get off saying that leftists hate this country? How fracking DARE you say that? It's not we leftists who hate democracy and want to replace it with a plutocratic theocracy , it not we leftists who want to promote a restrictive authoritarianism over the freedoms we enjoy today and it's definitely not we leftists who want to overturn every principle this nation was founded on and replace it with a foreign racist/ethnicist totalitarianism that nearly destroyed the entire world 70+ years ago
Notice they want to move in a country known for its overwhelming majority of white people. It's always funny how the same people who want "diversity" are always fleeing it. I never heard someone says "I want to migrate to Morroco" or "I want to migrate to Ivory Coast" or "I want to migrate to Mexico". It's funny those people who pretend not being racist but don't want to live with colored people, or with colored people only when they're a tiny minority.
So, basically you are saying what J.P. Morgan said when asked what that stock market will do in 1910...."it will fluctuate" Pity, Anyone actually knowing what the stock market will do as good as you pretend do would have devoted their life to finding out which stocks will decline first and by how much when, as you could sell them short and become fabulously rich, but you haven't.
Exactly right. I'm not going anywhere no matter what you cons do. If you don't like America YOU can leave.
Well that was definitely a fun point brought up in the post 2016 election euphoria. Besides the fact that all the people who swore they would leave the country because...racism mostly wanted to move to a country that was whiter than the US. From this list, the only people who said they would move to a majority nonwhite country was Eddie Griffin ("Africa"- no country specified), and Samuel L. Jackson, who said he would move to South Africa. Every time these celebs are interviewed, they should be asked for an update on their emigration plans.
