I mean Charlie Crist, former Republican, talking about what the party was concerned with, and it wasn't voter fraud, the party was concerned with suppressing votes from groups that vote Democratic. And that's what voter ID laws are all about, suppressing votes. Why would the GOP put the effort into this to prevent something that isn't happening and most likely will never happen because there is no incentive for it to happen?
Crist? You mean the fellow who actually turned out to be little more than a Dem political operative? Yeah because he's reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaallllllllllll trustworthy. His word's utterly golden -- um -- just like Obama's.
This is typical liberalism, dumb down the system for stupid people, lazy people, illegal people, "whatever" people, so they have zero incentive to not remain stupid, lazy, illegal or whatever. They've done it in the education system for years, same with the welfare system, so why not voting? I mean, dumbing down the education has worked so well, right? Bottom line, voter ID is a no brainer, especially considering a state ID is free and so easily obtainable. And frankly, the whole "Voter ID disproportionately hurts X, Y or Z" argument is BS because it completely removes any responsibility from X, Y & Z to provide legal proof they actually have a "right" to vote. So, who the hell in their right mind thinks that's "fair" to the millions of responsible citizens? Why allow the integrity of our entire voting system to possibly be compromised just because something like voter ID MIGHT disproportionately hurt a few folks who claim getting an ID is just to hard? I say, "F"em. You want to vote...get off your ass and get an ID. Period.
Then GET YOUR ID IN ORDER! God and goddess, this is NOT brain surgery! Some places DO require they be notarized. (Mine had to be.) Simplest way would be that, and to require the same ID for an absentee ballot as to vote on election day. - - - Updated - - - It's not, which is why the judge's order will be broomed!
Out-and-out lie! News flash: I DID register to vote with no ID. The sum total of what I needed: to sign a paper claiming I was who I claimed I was & have tit notarized. THAT'S IT! No, that's another lie. Rest of the post builds on those false premises and is therefore garbage.
re-read my post, the id was in order, the id checker just thought he was gonna vote Obama cause his skin was black so he rejected his id as fake... by the time it gets to court it's too late, he can't vote
as I said before, as long as absentee ballots require the same or more validation as going in person, fine with me there is no way though that one should have to show less ID when sending in a anonymous vote, vs a in-person vote
It's often a reason used to deny them the right to vote when they show up at their precinct and some idiot is in charge of the rolls. We need a foolproof, non-partisan solution to the concept of appropriate ID in the 21st century, in person and online.
How are these people finding work, opening up bank accounts, Traveling etc etc etc with ID that is wrong?
In other words, its not just the United States Supreme Court that is corrupt, it's all the courts. Pelican Brief....shouldn't be just a movie.
The Rodents say everything is racism, then the Stupids turn off their brains and just repeat it. NOBODY with a working brain can honestly say that Voter ID is racist. So those who claim it is are either Stupid or flat out liars.
Democrat voters can't pass mental competency tests. They're already proven guilty of incompetence by their selection of political party.
Easy. The Rodents hate minorities, they being the Party of Racism in the US like forever, and make it difficult for minorities to get ID. It's what DemocRATs do.
There are options, if one lives in the Underground Economy most of this is pretty easy to get around using common sense.
Stalin didn't like voter ID laws either. "It's not the people who vote that count. It's the people who count the votes." (Joseph Stalin)
And those actives have not let to one act of voting suppression what so ever. - - - Updated - - - Crawford v. Marion County Election Board. Good luck on having voting ID laws struck down all over the country. That isn't going to happen.
You will not see one too. The dems can't come up with a argument that says they can't get vote or get an ID or that a having an ID will not allow them to vote.
All voters should be digitally photographed and fingerprinted and those should br run through the FBI database at a later date. That won't cost the poor disenfranchised folks a freaking dime.
Anyone who cant get an ID to vote is an idiot and shouldn't be voting if that is too complicated for them.
When those who are in charge of elections catch wind of it this and they investigate, that person will go to jail. 2nd before the election they will say hey this isnt going to work at the polls, you need this and that to vote. That will be said over and over again for at least a year. They do that today.
