I was struck by how profoundly Trump, his accomplices, and his supporters are so quick to insist that dissent is unpatriotic if its directed at Trump and his policies and that all such american's exercising their manifest rights should "go back to where they came from".

Once again trump and the trumpettes demonstrate they have no clue what america and patriotism is really all about.

 

Anti-Semitism isn't dissent, its hate. Socialism isn't dissent, its incompatible with the US Constitution. If people's beliefs do not align with the core concepts that created this country, then this is not the place for them, it really doesn't matter who they are or where they are from...

 

And they can go back to the s-hole countries or cities from which they came versus trying to turn the entire U.S. into such.

We have been a social democracy for more than 100 years, so, no, that is not so. Capitalism steals money from the workers, while libertarianism would brutalize those not having the economic means to resist the "society of equals."
