As Hurricane Florence threatens the East Coast, the Trump Administration quietly took $9.75 million out of the FEMA budget—and put it to pay for ICE concentration camps.

Yes, more of the same concentration camps that have enforced the Trump Administration's child separation policy at the U.S.- Mexico border.

This abomination of an administration is literally taking money away from programs that assist millions of Americans facing a hurricane to pay for its deeply unpopular & cruel practice of separating children from families.

As Homeland Security noted: “without the transfers and reprogramming identified in this notification, ICE will not be able to fulfill its adult detention requirements in (fiscal year) 2018." Oh, the horror of it! No concentration camps in America? How will America ever survive?
Is there one single patriotic American who doesn't find this policy totally and completely despicable, in the words of my favorite black duck?

Operations and maintenance means the money is used for maintenance of government equipment and facilities. When congress says that is how the money is to be used, it cannot be shifted to another use.

 

Nothing funnier than watching Democrats whine about 9 million dollars when their hero sends 221 million dollars to the Palestinians on his last day. $221 for humanitarian effort. I guess Americans in failing schools couldn't have used that money. Charity begins at home but not with people who hate their home.
