according to the federal budget rules, yes, the federal government can use those funds to buy more fooseball tables and flatscreen tvs, and maintain the air conditioning in the soccer camps we have built for the innocent children of illegal aliens while they and their criminal parents are processed for deportation. you’d prefer the kids sit in jail with mom and dad? i don’t even see how that’s possible.

 

Because the money is fungible. A dollar received looks pretty much like any other dollar received. It would be like someone giving me a thousand dollars, but tell me not to use it on alcohol. So, I just use a thousand dollars intended for roof repair for my alcohol and then use the thousand dollars someone gave me for roof repair.

 

So then government budgets are fungible too.
