As I watched the results being played out, I kept analyzing what could work in Trumps favor, and what could work against him. It got down to five undecided states. Arizona and Alaska were looking to go Trump. Minnesota going for Clinton. New Hampshire, Michigan and Pennsylvania were all too close to call. I honestly thought that Michigan would be the one to put Trump over the top, but I thought there was a chance that all three of them could go Clinton, and leave Trump short by one Electoral vote.

Then Podesta came out and told the Clinton supporters to go home. The surprising thing was that Fox News was giving her a pass on not going out herself, but CNN compared it to Trump claiming that he would automatically accept the election results. Then the Fox News interviewed the individual that was making the decision of whether to call a state or not. He made it sound like Pennsylvania, and Michigan would not be decided that night. I was just about to turn the TV off, when they the graphics on the screen changed to Trump having 274 Electoral votes, and Trump wins. No one bothered to tell the commentators the fact. They were droning on about what to expect the next day, and the staff cheering drew their attention. They were then informed, I really loved Juan William's facial reaction.

Later that day, I found out how bad some of the MSM puppets were taking it. My own sister posted on Facebook that she was terrified about the future. I pointed out that she was misinformed about the things that she was saying. She did not respond back, but the next day she posted that she could not sleep. She claimed that it was because one of her brothers (me) told her she did not know what she was talking about.

You know, before the election, I joked about liberals needing an intervention after Trump wins. Unfortunately, it turns out that it might be true. I only hope that the Clinton supporters can accept the election is over, and we can move on. I do find it extremely ironic that the Media Blasted Trump for not saying that he will automatically accept the election results. Now, you have Clinton supporters not accepting the vote results, and wanting the EC to discount the popular vote for their state, and change their vote. I can not think of anything more unethical, but they are Clinton supporters.

So you are saying Pres. Obama picked his cabinet on gender and skin tone. :roflol:

Lets hope Trump doesn't pick his off the "Good Ole Boy" network.

I have already started selling my stock. Ford was the first to go. The market is going to take a dive. Trade war with China, tariffs, retaliatory tariff, economic sanctions, terminating free trade agreements. These are all words that the economy does not like, and were, incidentally, of the mind set of the world's nations in 1929.

As soon as I saw the turnout numbers, I knew Trump would win. Low turnout has favored Republicans in recent years.

The only fact here is that low turnout has favored republicans in recent years. It's not hard to understand.

Voters who vote solely on race, which were low turn out for blacks, are also low-info voters!

Just before the election I watched as a Democrat laughed and compared Pennsylvania to Charley Brown and Lucy holding the football. Arrogant and smirky as she laughed claiming that PA would never go red. I saw that PA was at 97% and Trump was winning but still wanted to wait. When they called PA a win for Trump and called the election, calling Trump the next president of the United States, I thought of that Democrat and smirked then breathed a sigh of relief. I didn't want to go through 4 years of being called a sexist for daring to disagree with Hillary.

So what would they have called a highly educated woman who dare disagree with Hillary?

I just love how everybody can 'foresee' the stock market...

Predictors like yourself should've realized that the bear market (ever since the Great Depression of 1929), takes place on the average about every 3.5 years. However, since the last bear market took place from 2007-2009, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize that we are overdue - for a traditional bear repair.

Trade war with China? How about more a trade deficit.

I breathed a sigh of relief. The middle class can't afford liberalism, it's way too expensive and Obamacare hurt our family.

...and, starting Monday, I start selling health insurance and health provider stocks... Trump is an economic disaster barrelling toward 2017.

I guess from the view as an old uneducated white guy, it just warm the cockles of my heart to see just how wrong all the educated MSM pundits were.

All of the "sure thing", its "her turn", she has a vagina just didnt work out for Hillary. She was totally over shadowed by her scandal, and the fact that she hitched her wagon to Obama. I for one actually believe that Obama drug down her numbers.

Any way I still feel elation, and maybe Trump can drain at least part of the swamp known as Washington. And yes I admit I google up pictures of Hillary voters whining, crying, and unhinged swearing at her loss.

Smart move, maybe next year you will be able to cross the Arizona / California state line and sell me some health insurance. Right now under Obama care you can't.

BTW, do me a favor and swing through Sedona and grab my doctor that Obama said I could keep and bring him back to California.

I agree completely. I'm an Independent, and it was miserable, trying to choose between two candidates that make me want to vomit. In the end, I voted for Hillary, only because I believe Trump is mentally unstable, immature, and an emotional child. He's dangerous, imo. Prepare for four years of hell.

Donald Duck would have been a better candidate, for either party.

You haven’t been watching closely. Haven’t you seen the arrogant smirks and attitudes worn by Trump, his family, and his sycophants? These folks have an industrial sized sense of entitlement. And they seem to display a highly condescending attitude toward everyone around them.

I’m hoping for the best, but I don't trust Trump.

Apa, i spent 55 years in the health insurance business before I retired. First of all, you are seriously under informed. The Supreme court determined that the insurance industry was subject to state, instead of federal law, back in the 1940's. Obama, being only a kid, had little, if anything, to do with it. Second, as VP of Regulatory Compliance in my career, I can assure you that state lines have never meant anything to us in the insurance industry. They hired people like me to make sure that our policies were filed and approved by every state insurance commissioner. All it took was a little tweak, here and there, like making sure that policies sold in Nevada covered acupuncture, as required by state law.

Don't let the facts interfere with your devotional hour to Rush Limbaugh,

But with across-the-state lines. You can now EXPAND your markets, which ironically means more will be covered, and it'll be easier than signing back up and changing insurances every time you move.

I voted for Johnson but was delighted knowing that I at least won't have the horrible Clintons in my face for a while. Also, watching the crying students who needed safe rooms and a cancellation of their exams was better than porn. I hope they are en extreme minority of the millennials, however, otherwise we are in a lot of trouble.

Possibly Wikileaks revealing the Hilary Clinton email of her claiming Bernie Sander's supporters were lazy basement dwellers leaching off their parents and wanting everything for free had something to do with that aspect.

The problem with you're thinking is, you believe the media who was shown to be WRONG on the election. So since you got your information from the media maybe you should be open minded and reconsider your opinion.

Why would Hillary supporters blame Bernie supporters? Just because Bernie jumped on board with Hillary doesn't mean his supporters have to. My god, they act as if people are drones who do as they are commanded to do, as if no one can think (or is allowed to) think for themselves. But don't feel bad, get in the long line of people they blamed, Hillary supporters blamed everyone who didn't vote for Hillary.
