And, for some reason, you think that Humana and Aetna who inure you in California, can't insure you in Pennsylvania? The only limiting factor to whether or not an insurance company can insure you across state lines is whether or not you continue to work for the employer to whom the insurer issued a group health contract. A friend of mine was insured by Humana in Louisiana, and remained insured by Humana when his employer transferred him to puerto Rico. This whole "across state lines" BS is just that, a smoke screen by people who have flimsy ideas on solutions to nonexistent problems.

Think on the bright side, they are not blaming Bush. First time in 8 years.

LOL, true. As they say, the left has a problem with accepting responsibility and the election has shown to be no different. The problem with the blame game and not accepting responsibility for failure is they don't learn from mistakes and will keep pushing their mistakes on the people.

And the great news here is that we will be able to blame Obama for the next 8 years. Pay backs are Hell.

Ironically, when we moved to Michigan we lost our health insurance and we had to sign back up with an entirely different insurance company and it took us several months to get that done. And yes, that's unacceptable in my view. All other insurances have the same problem and it's not a guarantee that you're able to afford that insurance.

It's also not a guarantee that everyone is employed! So yes, insurances should be able to be "carried" across the States, and lo and behold: It'd reduce a bunch of paperwork as well. You may find that a "flimsy idea", but what does that say for the other ideas that had been tried and didn't work?

Cheeto colored? Are you making fun of someone's skin color? That's racist!

My first thought was Hillary in a bright orange prison jumpsuit then two ideas popped into my head -

    1. Accountability.

    2. Drain the swamp.

I also felt a sense of relief knowing we didn't just elect another elitist member of the political establishment. So there is a sense of satisfaction knowing that real change is possible.

Of course I'm not an ignorant progressive so I know the president can only do so much and Trump will indeed have to work with congress to pass his agenda but I'm pretty thrilled Trumps America may be within reach if common ground can be found in congress, and I think "common ground" will without question be a lot easier to find with a republican majority rather than progressive/democrat.

So, I'm pretty optimistic and I'm usually a pessimist.

I wasn't sure whether to wake my wife and say, "She lost" or "He won."

My first thought, and a thought that comes to mind from time to time since; wow, thank God she's really not going to be president.

Next, there really is hope to at least stave off the Latino takeover, therefore the Democratic takeover, for now.

His skin color is not natural. There is no Cheeto race of humankind.

He uses entirely too much spray tan. And his cabinet is a mess. And he's acting like a five year old with his twitter.

This dude is a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing child, and you people are acting like he is above criticism.

I've never enjoyed an election as much as this one. My first thought - "They're gone. The Clintons are finally gone". Now, had she won I was going to take my hearing aides out and stomp on them so I'd never have to listen to her gawd awful lies and voice again.

Somewhat gladdened by the fact that smug "liberals" everywhere would be experiencing intense emotional pain and turmoil.

My first thought was "Thank God, Hillary won't be our next President." I didn't vote for Trump (or Hillary), for moral character reasons--neither Trump or Hillary, IMHO, are morally capable of being good Presidents. That said, I was happier to hear that Republicans didn't lose either House nor Senate.

It’s rare to meet a person possessing an intelligence so massive that he is able, instantly, to analyze another person’s thinking, as you have, here. After reading your brilliant analysis, I’ll correct my thinking, immediately

Thanks for taking the time to show me the correct path in life. I hope this didn’t make you late for your Mensa meeting.

(By the way, I’m sure you meant to type “your” in the sentence above. It’s understandable that someone, like you, who spends the day thinking deep thoughts, has little time to worry about trivial things like correct word usage).

You are putting words in my mouth. Please tell me how I'm acting like he is above criticism. How do you know if he is using spray tan? Did he tell you? Making fun of someone's skin color like you did is racist.

if your 'enemy' had been as thoroughly repulsive as progs and SJWs have been for some time now .... consistently demonising anyone and everything not in 100% alignment with their worldview and their class status (white, privileged, and educated), you might feel rather differently. they are the most toxic socio-political movement we've seen in decades.

Not American here, but at my house we laughed more than we've laughed in a quite a while. It was hysterically funny, from our POV. It still is. I'm actually making time each day for the watching of YT meltdown compilations. My god they're delicious :)

I think some here have failed to see that this delight is sometimes the result of having been Bernie supporters. Many of whom either turned to Trump out of pure disgust for the entire Clinton circus, or didn't vote at all. None love Trump, but that doesn't mean they can't be delighted about Clinton's failure and the humiliation of the SJWs.

It's only racist if RACE is involved. You're playing identitarian politics, knock it off.
