I haven`t seen any evidence of your accusation against the NRA, and I`m not misconstruing anything, just dealing with facts. You are probably better off placing me on your "don't bother reading" list, if the truth is too inconvenient. I will only pine for a couple of years, and lose thousands of hours sleep. Nup, no I won`t, changed my mind. I`m over it already.

The main reason for the high crime rate in America is because of the substandard social support network.

The make-up of the population also plays into it. The more homogeneous the population, like in Japan, the less crime, IMHO. It seems that when you have different cultures, beliefs, etc, there are more tensions.

America is sick, it is suffering from Americanism. It is full of it's own importance.

Not necessarily - both Australia and New Zealand and for that matter most of Europe these days have a pretty multicultural mix and they do not have the issues America does - especially in relation to gun related crime Although it is very hard to compare countries because of differing legislation i.e. over here a kiss can be considered assault

If the person didn't want to be kissed, why not.

Well done DV, spoken like a true racist.

But you do realise a country is an intangible concept and as such can't be sick or suffer or feel anything, only idividuals can be sick, suffer and have feelings. Your opinion expressed above is such a stupidly sweeping generalisation that it only serves to highlite your ignorance and attitude of racial discrimination toward people from another nation.

There's a huge difference between spouting American elitist cr4p and being a proud Aussie.

When you hear that they are being charged with "rape and 10 counts of assault" the assault could be kissing

It is not as innocuous as it seems because of the risk of transmitted disease and even just the whole part of "against their will"

Oh no, gun crime and crime in general has decreased in Australia since the introduction of stricter gun control!

But that's not the point! We shouldn't have our freedoms stopped by th-

What's that? We still have shooting clubs where we can shoot recreationally? We're allowed firearms if we have legitimate hunting, sports or farming uses?

    But...but...OUR FREEDAMS!!!

OK, so what is good for the goose is not necessarily good for the gander?
