Not my deflection please trace it back to the original post that was a deflection which I objected to. That being said you are taking my post out of context as I was referring to Capital Punishment. Unless you live on death row your scenario is impossible.

Again just because the Swiss Guard has weapons does not mean those weapons were purchased under the reign of Pope Francis. If Pope Francis has not authorized money to be spent directly on weapons then you hypocrisy argument is a non-starter. I have yet to see link to anything that proves Pope Francis purchased weapons. Until then you are assuming facts not in evidence.

 

I have no issue with people being on death row and being executed either. But I have a real issue with killing the innocent unborn.

 

Are you too blinded by your gun-grabbing convictions to see the hypocrisy is not whether or not the Pope ordered the sale personally of any any gun while Pope---

----it is the fact that the Pope currently allows himself the protection of ANY gun. Many of the guns and other weapons have been around for centuries.

Being the senile fool, or hypocrite that Pope Francis is, he would not make the decree that ALL gunmakers and ALL who invest in such companies are Christian hypocrites---and then walk around being protected by the most modern guns that all gun control fanatics want banned for individuals.

He MUST ban all guns now from the Vatican, even the ones that were not bought during his papacy.

PS. All those who make parts and ammo for guns are doomed as well. Go find a priest and ask for forgiveness if you've ever touched a gun or bullet. Just use your "common sense."

As to disarming the Swiss Guard that was not the point that was made. The point was not about unilateral disarmament but about the producing and profiting from production and sale of weapons. The "point" you are making is in response to something that is not even being discussed.

 

I would suggest that it is you that is blinded by weapons manufacturers. I am not trying to grab anyones gun and I don't believe the Pope is either. What he is suggesting is that if you profit gun manufacturing and selling you are committing unchristian acts and are being duplicitous if you then preach Christian virtues. He is not making a judgement on gun ownership. This is your distorted interpretation.
