what does either have to do with religion? Spoiling a dog is what people do when they equate dogs to children.... and not specific to any demographic, or religion.....

Yep, dogs don't belong on furniture, and those men should be in mental health hospitals. The church youth group I assist with is planning to help out a local homeless group. But, I guess you want things like that banned, after all, we are church members who should be killed if we don't kowtow to your idea of outlawing religion.

 

S o you have no objection to using your church and turning it into accommodation for the homeless, then they would not be homeless . The irony.

 

It wouldn't be a very good homeless shelter (not enough bathroom space), and it's kind of drafty. I think it's much better to use the church as a place where the Priest's sermons have the effect of raising money for the homeless (and a lot of other causes).

That said, we did open our church's classroom space to refugees from Hurricane Katrina for a few months.

My main thing is the idea of basic liberty, which you are opposed to. Where are you from? Germany or Russia or some other country? You're not a native English writer (although you do write well, just your syntax isn't native), I can tell that much.

 

outlaw what specifically? In order to outlaw religion you would have to make it illegal to practice it. That means the govt will shut down churches, synagogues, mosques and any other religious temples. It means censoring the bible, Quran, book of Mormon. It means prohibiting prayer no matter where it takes place. It may even mean hooking all people to a mind reading device and removing all religious thought. I know you don't want to go this far but that's what outlawing religion actually means in practice.

 

Who will declassify these books? The government? By what method? What if a private bookstore doesn't follow your order?

 

I've never seen books officially classified (or declassified).

He's already said "I am in essence advocating the use of force to outlaw religion." So I guess, he would force the bookstore to follow the order, and then he would have them beaten up or killed if they didn't comply.

 

You're right. I've mentioned his syntax several times. I wonder if atheist groups get together and raise money for the homeless. I know atheist individuals will, but I'm referring to any groups that might exist, seeing as a group can make much more of an impact than an individual can. Then again he's not after atheist money, he's only after church money.

 

And most people claim God is a fairy tale lol. Is that your way of excusing God from your life. Think of it this way, God loves you unconditionally and with jealousy. Think how he must feel with you talking this way.

So what do YOU DO for the homeless?

 

I have no wealth I am quite poor, but I do put money in the collection pots if i see the homeless, I do not have a big house like a church so have no spare room(s), but what I do , do, is I have some friends who are unfortunate and I try my best to make sure they are eating and feed them if needed etc, even so much as brought them clothes. I know it isn't much and if I was wealthy I would gladly give an awful lot more, a person doesn't need that much money , the sort of money rich people have, the sort of money that buys cats diamonds, The only thing I am needy for is a few more holidays,I have had one in 20 years, I live inland and do not drive, it is expensive, you can rent a house for a month for the price of one week in a holiday home (caravan) , and the beaches are just horrible.
This is like most people I know in my area, they do not go outside of our prison of circumstance.

not really, the world is owned, we are prisoners of circumstance, you have the red buttons and control of the armies , we have no say.
