Oh, and Tapatalk? I have to say that at this point, it does not seem likely that we will enable it. There've been to way too many security vulnerabilities associated with Tapa over the last few years, which still might almost be acceptable if not for the fact that Tapatalk has a well-documented history of poor transparency and misleading communications about those vulnerabilities. In short, their software opens up too many backdoors to hackers, and they do not tell the truth about the vulnerabilities to which they expose websites that think they are password-protected.

We still need to thoroughly discus this in Staff, but at present, I do not think it is likely. I am very sorry to inconvenience anyone who has become accustomed to using Tapa, But honestly, it's almost like partnering up with Facebook and putting them in charge of your login security. Really not a direction we feel comfortable going.

My LastPass password manager no longer can sign me as the sign in box has to be manually opened.

Is this part of tbe new security?

On an aesthetic point: can you fix the logo so light green background colour stretches fully across as before? The old format did have some admin stuff on the right which would now be bare, but I think it looked better.

I've attached a screenshot of the old format for comparison.

Obviously not a priority, but it's a suggestion.

For clarity: it was me who raised the "expand" issue. For quotes which exceed a relatively short length you need to click on "expand" to see the whole quote. My own preference if for the full quote without "expand". I get that others like it, but if I start reading a quote I invariably want to see the whole thing, so it inconveniences me personally.

I wonder if there's an option to disable expand within ones own account preferences?

Can we go back to (****) instead of [profanity filtered] ? It's harder to read the new way.

I don't get you guys who are complaining about colors. I'm not seeing any different colors than I did before, because they're controlled by my browser settings.

On another note, the ignore feature strikes me as overdone. There's a guy quoting people on my i-list, and unless I click Show Ignored Content, it looks like he's tallking to himself.

In the tools above the post, click the icon to the right of the filmstrip icon (looks like a document.) It gives you a pop down menu where you can select
    Code:
    Code
    Or
    strikethrough.

We have lots more tools now. :);):(:confused::cool::p:D:eek::oops::rolleyes:o_O

Seems the quote/wrap function is gone from the formatting tools.

You have to click Insert first, then Quote. I'd like to change that, but there are many things with higher priority :(

I see that others agreed with you, but I need more explanation, please. It seems like I can click undo a couple times and it behaves as I would want and expect.

Edit: Someone else has explained it. I'm not seeing this issue myself, but I'll look into it.

I hate fully italicized quotes, and got rid of that yesterday :)

I miss having a title space for an upload.
I miss the "oldman", "blowkiss", Canada & USA flags, and others.
And as an old f*rt I don't like having to learn new bells and whistles.

 Can we at least get more emoticons for our upgrade :D

Can you add Comic Sans MS to the font list?

I know, it's Comic Sans MS... But some people liked it. ;)

How do you delete a post. I went to edit a post and p my mistake I got a reply box quoting my text and then it save it to the board. I could not find a way to delete the post.

A mod would have to delete it for you. You can edit it within an hour and report it.

Oh that's not good. Numerous times I have responded to something and seconds after posting decided it wasn't worth getting into or some other reason just wanted to delete it so I wouldn't get an infraction . In this case it was a screw up on my part and needed to just delete it. We had the approx. 5 minute window to delete a post in the old forum.

Guess I'll just wipe the text and type [Deleted].
