I am saddened to hear about your hand tremors. I had a serious hand injury and sounds funny to say this but luckily it was to my right hand so as painful to every day life, at least my left hand is still in great shape. The doctors can't help? I teach guitar, only have 3 students now but stopped advertising after having 6 and the trouble with dealing with the flaky ones. One I have had for a year and a half and this boy is so amazing we can only work on technique and writing and phrasing solo type things. I told him if he doesn't join a band I'm going to fire him. He is too good to not do it and only hasn't because he's shy. Playing in a band will take a good player into a beast.
Have you lost your mind? Hatred and violence are owned by the liberal thug party. You are so far out in left field it is grotesque.
I have thought that the perception of the other side by staunch partisans is identical the the other side's perception of them, with only the labels changing. Can an epiphany be hoped for in your above observation?
I very much enjoy pointing out to liberals that Trump IS their president, something Hillary will NEVER be. I don't believe this qualifies and an insult, however.
Well, sure, Jonsa... one can always 'hope'. But remember the old saying about 'hoping' and 'wishing'.... It goes something like this: Raise one hand in the air to wish with, and put the under hand under your bare ass... and see which one gets FULL first.... I'm an old guy, Jonsa, and I've seen a lot of tumultuous, terrible things in this country during my long life. I'm more worried about the United States now than I have ever been before. The people have essentially divided themselves into roughly two camps -- each of which really HATES THE OTHER'S GUTS! Our adversaries, enemies, and political opponents have been watching this bizarre development closely since about 2006, and they are laughing themselves sick!
This is the fault of the two party system and some political pundits as well as some of the party lifers who are loyal to their respective parties no matter WHAT. Those people need to go. The two party system needs to go. We should have elected officials who run on their OWN merits and who have their own individual message, and not the parties' agendas. Personally, I am sick and tired of the whole thing and how easily led people are by their respective parties.
This only happens when enough people decide to form other parties, and those parties gain enough supporters to win elections.
http://ritholtz.com/2011/07/founding-fathers-beware-two-party-system/ Founding Fathers: Beware Two Party System July 9, 2011 1:00am by The Founding Fathers Tried to Warn Us About the Threat From a Two-Party System > Polls show that a majority of Americans say that both the Republicans and Democrats are doing such a poor job representing the people that a new, third party is needed. I’ve repeatedly warned that there is a scripted, psuedo-war between Dems and Repubs, liberals and conservatives which is in reality a false divide-and-conquer dog-and-pony show created by the powers that be to keep the American people divided and distracted. See this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this and this. In fact, the Founding Fathers warned us about the threat from a two party system. John Adams said: There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution. George Washington agreed, saying in his farewell presidential speech: The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind, (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight,) the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it. It serves always to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration. It agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which find a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another. There is an opinion, that parties in free countries are useful checks upon the administration of the Government, and serve to keep alive the spirit of Liberty. This within certain limits is probably true; and in Governments of a Monarchical cast, Patriotism may look with indulgence, if not with favor, upon the spirit of party. But in those of the popular character, in Governments purely elective, it is a spirit not to be encouraged. From their natural tendency, it is certain there will always be enough of that spirit for every salutary purpose. And, there being constant danger of excess, the effort ought to be, by force of public opinion, to mitigate and assuage it. A fire not to be quenched, it demands a uniform vigilance to prevent its bursting into a flame, lest, instead of warming, it should consume.
Well it was Jefferson and Madison and the anti Federalist group that morphed into today's Democratic Party. Just another thing the relatively young, GOP can blame on the Democratic Party. Or
After more than four decades of being a card-carrying Republican, I changed my Colorado voter registration, officially, to "Unaffiliated". I understand exactly what you mean.
I enjoy insulting stupid* people with the truth. *By which I don't mean stupid like Forrest Gump, I mean stupid like Maxine Waters. So how do you propose to come together with people who despise liberty? Some people aren't receptive to any other sort of communication; and by insulting such people you may communicate to third parties confirmation of their sanity.
Only person full of hate here is you. Clearly. I mean ffs "GOD WILL PUNISH YOU!" Lmfao. People who aren't filled with hate don't say such stupid ****.
If you hate the other side, then they got the better of you. Just pity them and don't let 'em troll ya
Pointing at the truly looney fringe of another group is pointless especially as, in this case, each political party has upwards of 100 million members. One is always gonna find the crazy in any group. Although fortunately, for me, I don't belong to either party.
Oh well since you posted a cartoon and a couple pics and even underlined it being my party must be proof enough. I could post 100 videos of the left being violent but still wouldn't compare to your liberal evidence.
I voted "no." But I'm guessing that those who do enjoy it' are just looking for a way to blow off steam. I get more out of attempting to have a civil discussion with people I disagree with. If they want to respond with insults, it's pointless. Well, it does tell you something about the person.
What? Acting like a mature, and responsible, adult? Here on the interwebs? That is just wrong. Next we'll have cats and dogs getting married! Or who knows, we might have Republicans and Democrats being friends!
Through the campaign, I found it interesting how Trump insulted people from his own party more so than he did with the Democrats.
I don't but one party is so far behind the other party on key issues such as religion, science and others that it's the equivalent of talking to someone from an Islamist party. The divide in intellect is real and scary.
I'm an Independent, and no I don't enjoy it, and I don't do it. I'm here to talk. I'm not interested in a food fight.
I am willing to accept that each party has policies that are better than the other's, but both major parties are dysfunctional messes ruled by isolated, and ignorant, extremists who are pursuing policies that will ruin a majority of the American population. Debating on which party, or faction, is worse is like debating on whether arsenic, polonium, or lead is worse for your health. The end is still a gruesome death, or if you are "lucky" being physically crippled, or insane, for life. And so, choosing your preferred method of suffering is all we are arguing over. I rather hope both will go the way of the Whigs. It would be scary, but at least we would have a chance for some political parties that actually represent the views of, and work for the welfare of, most Americans rather than a small, usually very wealthy, group.
