Not to hijack the thread, but that is bull hockey. Check on the SoE home state of Michigan and see how well they rank with that "competition."

What is it about the oath you and your ilk have a hard time understanding:

Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:—"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Research the entire discussion. Trump was smeared by the Washington Post. He stated four separate times in the same discussion that McCain was a war hero four times - twice specifically because he was captured. This is the lib prog biased media smear machine in action reporting only the parts of what individuals they are against which confirm their bias.

Read "The Smear" by Sharyl Attkisson - 2017.

When competing for students with charter and private schools public schools improve. That's an established fact based on data. Do some homework on the subject.

Oh??? I've just told you about the state of Michigan, where DeVos were implementing charter schools. Look it up and tell me how "great" Michigan is doing. Charter schools do well in some areas but not others. It is not clear cut as you have made it out to be. Look here, for instance:

No. Trump smeared John McCain. He has done so multiple times, but in that particular point, he was smearing John McCain by implying that the only reason John McCain is considered a war hero by others is because John McCain was captured.

As usual lib progs when confronted with the truth resort to personal attacks and insults. What you state is factually incorrect. But of course you will refuse to do the homework necessary to understand exactly what was said in the totality of the discussion. Pathetic.

Rex Ryan, the former Jets and Bills coach who once introduced then-presidential candidate Donald Trump at a rally in Buffalo, expressed his regret on the morning show “Sunday N.F.L. Countdown.”

“Everyone’s always been united. Yeah, the views are different but lemme tell you: I’m pissed off,” said Ryan, who now works as an ESPN commentator. “I’ll be honest with you. Because I supported Donald Trump. When he asked me to introduce him at a rally in Buffalo, I did that. But I’m reading these comments and it’s appalling to me and I’m sure it’s appalling to almost any citizen in our country. It should be.”

AFM, if you "support a President with economic growth policies," you better look elsewhere than the twittenfuhrer.

I think this sporting-related BLM grandstanding started about a year ago, so nothing to do with The Donald,

Owners were also on the field protesting with the players. What do you say about that?

The funny thing is if you look closely the rest of the team is directly behind him in this picture.

Remember when our hypocritical President complained about President Obama focusing on football and not worrying about the bigger problems this country has? Yes, so do I.

President should not be telling the Washington Redskins to change their name-our country has far bigger problems! FOCUS on them, not nonsense

On camera and in uniform, ready to play. The pay doesn't start at the instant that the player takes the field, the pay starts when he enters the stadium and checks in for work. So, yes, the player is very definitely representing the owner before kick-off.

I have never worked in a job where I was expected to engage in a civil/political ritual that had zero to do with my actual job in front of millions of people on a weekly basis. I'm betting you haven't either.

I have also never worked at a job where millions of nobodies who could never ever under any circumstance no matter how much money or training they had do my job got to publicly and personally: pass judgement on what I did; pass judgement on the manner in which I did it; personally abuse me for simply disagreeing with them. I'm betting you haven't either.

I have also never worked in a job where the leader of my nation could single me out for personal insults before an audience of millions. I'm betting you haven't either.

Whatever your job is, it doesn't compare to what these athletes do. It might be more difficult in some respects. It might be more dangerous. It could very easily be more important in a 'real world' sense, but I seriously doubt it is in any way comparable.

So, lets not pretend that your experience matters here.
