He says things Americans are saying and he has the balls to say it in public.

Sorry to include you in "US" because you have neither the balls or the guts to do it.

You bought it, burn it if you like. That's the beauty of America.

Obviously, you are triggered because you can't rationally cope with people expressing their negative opinions about the players disrespecting the flag, the anthem and by extension the country both represent.

Suck it up - freedom of speech works both ways.

Actually, he does bear a lot of the responsibility for it.

    He doesn't understand that.

But that's because he doesn't know or care what his actual job is.

As the highest ranking Republican, it is his responsibility to lead the effort to shape and champion the party's agenda.

But Trump could care less. All he cares about is being on cable TV or being talked about on cable TV.

He stood on the sidelines until the last minute during the House debate on health care, belatedly pushed for the bill for a couple of days and then turned around and attacked it.

He was AWOL on both of the Senate efforts.

Even today, after taking a public stance on supporting Luther Strange, he walked away from that, only to stage a belated rally for him at the last minute. But he used that rally to blow the white resentment dog whistle. Everyone forgot about the poor unfortunate soon to be ex Senator Strange and started ranting about the NFL.

Trump's candidate is going to go down in flames today, and Trump is nowhere near the scene of the crime.

If he handles North Korea like this, we'll be in a shooting war and the President will be in Mar A Lago talking about confederate statues.

Yes, he's just like you. He proudly says racist things, cries because illegal Mexicans stole your job, wets his pants about Muslims, and lies every day. No wonder you're a supporter. He's not only your hero, he's your role model.

No no no. You aren't doing it right.

When Trump supporters talk about his "achievements" they talk about the 40+ useless bills that he signed into law, like the one law designating the courthouse on Church Street in Nashville, Tenn., as the Fred D. Thompson Federal Building and United States Courthouse. To his loyal fan base, he's an awesome President because he signs bills! He gets all the credit.

But when his party (cough cough - the one he pretends to support) can't put any major legislation in front of him to sign, because he's probably the most ineffective leader in the history of this country, it's THEIR fault, not his.

See, you have to give him credit for their work when he picks up that pen to sign their work into law, but blame them when he can't do his own work.

Happy to see right wingers, who claim "good will and charity" will and can replace "welfare" burning clothing in protest that could be sent, in good will, and in charity, to the thousands of americans who lost everything in Hurricane Harvey and Irma.

    SHAME ON ALL OF YOU.

Yeah, those damn blacks! They don't know their place.

You forgot about the white players who knelt too. But I'm sure they're allowed to kneel. Whites have freedoms of speech, and blacks don't! Yeeha!

Project that you think Trump's behavior is appropriate for a senior executive? That isn't projecting. That's me being sympathetic to someone who thinks calling out to the fry cook at the Burger King counter is a business exchange.

If it's true, then who gives a damn if it is "racist"? Call a duck a duck. Truth should take precedence over percieved "racism".

Please! Those aren't conservatives. Those are moronic racist Trump devotees.

Your point is excellent, though. Just please frame it to the ones whose sicknesses have really manifested themselves over the last few months while they await their next order from President RealityTV.

Why are you repeating that? It’s just not true. I know you want it to be, but it’s not. Just as fake as the quote from Jerry Jones saying he’d fire people if they didn’t stand.

They did it then too. You’re peddling a fake story.

Here’s a video proving that is incorrect:

Interesting. The vets I've spoke with support the right to protest but despise the choice of disrespecting the country.

Bush was also accused of being divisive, by the same Democrat leaders. The Democrat leaders who divide us up into groups.

You can't get Conservatives to burn Confederate flags over people murdered in Charlottesville, but they'll burn sports gear over legal,Constitutional protests.

Just goes to show, in the minds of the Right:

Blacks protesting legally "Sons of bitches"
Nazis murdering people and marching in support of white supremacy "Very fine people"

Now to add insult to injury, Pat Tillman's widow has come out against her husband's name being used by Trump and his dopey loyalists.

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...politicize-pat-in-effort-to-divide/106005404/

"As a football player and soldier, Pat inspired countless Americans to unify," Marie Tillman said. "It is my hope that his memory should always remind people that we must come together. Pat's service, along with that of every man and woman's service, should never be politicized in a way that divides us. We are too great of a country for that. Those that serve fight for the American ideals of freedom, justice and democracy. They and their families know the cost of that fight. I know the very personal costs in a way I feel acutely every day.

"The very action of self expression and the freedom to speak from one's heart — no matter those views — is what Pat and so many other Americans have given their lives for. Even if they didn't always agree with those views. It is my sincere hope that our leaders both understand and learn from the lessons of Pat's life and death, and also those of so many other brave Americans."
