I know, I agree 100% with you. I'm just glad they at least stood when the people on the field began rolling the flag out. The kneeling is still unacceptable in my opinion because I don't want to watch politics.

Are you on Facebook? Do you know those frames you can add to your profile picture? I clicked on it today, and the four most popular pop up. The first three were variations of "I stand" with flag motifs, and the fourth was an American flag overlay. Then you can click to see more, and the top 20 pop up. There was only one for supporting kneeling, and it was next to last. Just an observation.... But I know a couple of posters on here have insisted there is so much support for the kneelers, they have so many friends supporting the kneelers, and that their Facebook feeds have been full of support for the kneelers... I don't know, I'm not seeing it. Of course, our Facebook friends are likely to be 'like' us, so maybe as a patriot I just happen to have a lot of likewise patriotic Facebook friends. But then I'm not sure what that says for the people who are seeing so much support for the kneelers among their Facebook friends.....

 

You are very confused. I have never preached to Black Americans about anything, certainly not that "everyone on the right is a racist."

Well that shouldn't be hard for you to understand because your posts don't make a hell of a lot of sense. Going back to Colin Kaepernick, he took a knee to protest police actions against people of color. A handful of others did the same, but you have The President of the United States at a rally making a point of calling that handful out by calling them "a son of a bitch" and then has the audacity to say that it's not about race. Given his track record on the subject and the fact that the handful taking a knee are people of color, to say it's not about race is Bullshit (that's with a capital B). To twist kneeling during the anthem into disrespecting the country and the military is beyond ignorance. It's truly F**king stupid, but the biggest problem in all this is you can't even have a conversation about the problem because the country is so divided. No, that's not Obama's fault. The problem to those that have trouble with Obama is simply that he won the election.....twice.
So go ahead, you want to continue banging the drum about "disrespect" and such, know that you are wrong. Just like with Obama, gays, the Confederate flag, the national debt (funny how you don't hear about that any more), health care, a stupid wall that will do nothing and last but not least the "rule of law" because the people you're vilifying have done nothing wrong but upset your warped perception.

I think there is one guy on my Facebook, if he hasn't deleted me by now, who would support such nonsense, but I'm 38 as are most of my friends, or they're older... My fiance, on the other hand, is 25 and her Facebook friend's list is filled with Millennials. She said she hasn't found one post yet that supports all this kneeling BS... And she was sifting through all the anti-Trump BS on election night.

 

Ok. They'll never be able to do that as long as mainstream names keep telling them that if we support Trump or other Republicans, we're racists and don't like black skin. Take Clinton for instance... She was on MSNBC yesterday talking about how Trump was speaking out against black athletes. That's a bald-faced lie. That's that divisive language we keep hearing about Trump saying, but it's coming from people like her. He's even reached out to blacks.

 

You don't have much credibility left to call something else stupid when you think kneeling during the National Anthem to protest police actions against people of color makes any sense. What does police action have to do with the National Anthem? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. You people are the ones who have twisted your fake police brutality cries and tied them into the National Anthem.

White people were also kneeling before Trump made his comment. You guys claim he defended white nationalists because he condemned both the white nationalists and the people who came to fight them. You guys then push the white man aside and claim he's speaking out against people of color because he condemned the kneeling during the National Anthem for what it is, disrespectful.

As far as Trump, how long did it take him to "condemn" the white nationalists? I mean, how hard could that be? To use your logic were there bad people on both side of WW2? That was against white nationalists.
