But what was the purpose of "kneeling" in the first place if it wasn't to bow down before the whole BLM pack of lies about Blacks throughout the whole United States are somehow "suppressed"...? There was, and is, NO valid reason for anyone bowing down to anything before, during, or after the National Anthem. The whole BLM-inspired charade and propaganda fraud should not be given any recognition at all!

They are protesting a type of dying American culture they don't want.

I don't have your interpretation- I have sharyl whashername's interpretation. I've explained why it's inadequate, and you simply disagree and allude to a larger context that you refuse to explain.

Undoubtedly trump is smeared at times; yes, the media pick on every tiny thing and yes, at times it gets a bit ridiculous.

But I don't see how this is one of those times. Trump said McCain wasn't a war hero, then reversed himself. Your refusal to explore the discrepancy makes it look like you're the one who refuses to face the truth. So why not address my points and show me what I'm misunderstanding? Or you can just keep repeating that you're right and I'm wrong. Up to you.

If that were true, then we would have a problem. But it is not. Most of America disagrees with Trump and his few supporters.

It's completely adequate. I have no control over your insistence that the smear is correct nor do have any interest in convincing you of anything. Read the book - it would be educational for you.

Bringing politics onto the field ruins the game for fans that come there to watch football and escape the realities of daily life. If these players want to protest they should do so on their own time. Once they enter the stadium they are employees and bound by the rules of the employer and their responsibility is to please the customer.

Nice try but the anthem isn't politics it is America and is part of the American experience of going to a football game.

England abolished slavery in 1833. The U. S. abolished slavery in 1865. I guess that's why Blacks would disrespect the Flag and National Anthem of the United States, but honor the Flag and National Anthem of Great Britain? One can only suppose, then, that in the minds of these 'protesting' Blacks, those 32 years way back in the 1800's made all the difference in the world to them...(?). :roflol:

What a bunch of easily-led, hypocritical morons.... :spin:

Their employer has no rules about respectful protest. They can't wear advertising on their uniforms.

It's a long standing problem with a long history and is getting worse all the time as other parts of my previous post pointed out. The fact that you cherry picked the oldest example is a way of running from truth.

The NFL has rules of conduct and enforced them all the time. This one they are afraid to enforce because it's such a hot potato but the fans will have the last say on this as they tune out and advertisers bow out.

Basically you couldn't care less, as long as they vote for the democrat. It's perfectly ok, in your opinion, to have support from the left until the voting is over and the poor blacks are tossed back on the back burner with a bad education and poor critical thinking skills. But hey, the democrat got what they wanted so it's all good with you.

How is it getting worse? Almost 1700 players on active rosters each season. You find a few names here and there and claim it is a huge problem. You cannot prove your point. Just admit it.

Blacks were brought completely "into the fold" of American society, and all racial barriers against them were removed, once and for all, by the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Blacks are the legal equal of every other citizen in the United States -- period! And that is a very good thing!

What is not a good thing is when some radical bunch of hyperliberals decide to make a martyr and hero out criminals and thugs, just because they are Black. Then they go on to imagine, somehow, that ALL Blacks are mistreated and suppressed in this country. That is complete bullshit and it should not be given any recognition by anyone getting down on their knees, before, during, or after the playing of the National Anthem at a public sports event.

"In two recent polls that were both conducted within the past week, a majority of respondents said that they disagree with Kaepernick's decision to protest racial inequality and police brutality by not standing for the national anthem.

In one poll, which was conducted by Reuters, 72 percent of Americans said that they thought Kaepernick's behavior was unpatriotic. Another 61 percent said that they do not "support the stance Colin Kaepernick is taking and his decision not to stand during the national anthem."

The Reuters poll of 2,903 adults was conducted between Sept. 6-12. Kaepernick's protest went public on Aug. 26."

Sounds like Trump gets more than supermajority support on this one,

I gave you a link stating how many of these players come from gang neighborhoods and have gang affiliations, you just don't want to admit it.

If someone repeatedly stonewalled you in an argument then claimed victory, would you read their book recommendation? Anyway, a fact-based discussion is clearly not on the cards here. I hope your faith in trump is repaid.

I could list 1000s, but would it really mean anything to you? Probably not.

They are about pampered millionaires feeling guilty about their position in life while so many of their race complain about being oppressed. They take a knee, play their game and then go home to their white wives and their mansions feeling better about themselves. So much easier and cheaper than going into black communities and funding kids to go to college and funding new businesses.

You're entitled to your opinion and it clearly explains why you believe the things you believe in. I'm sure Mohamad Ali and MLK would think different. Not all Black People Rioted in the 60s, but hey ... what do I know.
